hey guys a lil background on myself and how easy it is for me to get fat.. i was fat all my life... i was... 6'2 250. and i finally said screw it.. now im 6'2 173. all that lose in a period of like 6 months MAX.... but now im trying to get a healthy diet.. i always was the guy that was like i wanna be swoll like him etc etc... i wanna be 6'2 220 atleast and of course lean.. so i need a diet that will get me leaner and the most important gain lbs of only muscle fast fast fast.. Current workout setup: 30min cardio 5 days a week. workout 5 days a week. weekends off on both my diet: 1500 calerie intake (muscle mass phase) its suppose to be 5 meals but the way my schedule is i split one in half. Breakfast. 45g carbs - so i eat a bagel which is 50g but i leave a lil piece 28g protein - 4oz of chicken lunch - 45g carbs - so i eat a bagel which is 50g but i leave a lil piece 28g protein - 4oz of chicken Preworkout 70g carbs - 1 3/4 Grape juice 23g protein - 1 turkey patty = that much Post workout - 70g carbs - 1 3/4 Grape juice 23g protein - 1 turkey patty = that much bedtime meal- 15g carbs - wheat bread - 1.5 slices 20g protein i think - about 3oz chicken or alil less or 1 23g protein turkey patty. i split the lunch meal in half and have that 3 hours later. i eat these about 3 hours apart. not on creatine yet but im very interested i wanna get the best brand that every1 has been very successfull with... any help and changes? i hope the best creatine that is successfull in getting huge is a pill.. im praying its a pill

okay, now let us go through this one by one; congratulations on losing the weight so far, and i hope you are proud of yourself as it takes determined person to accomplish what they want to. now as to putting on 50lbs of muscle; yes it is possible, but you have to never use "asap" ever again. it took you 6 months to lose about 80lbs so i hope you are patient with your self with regards to putting the nuscle on. i noticed you have also used the word "max" after 6 months; this also tells me that you want to see results REALLY quickly, and you have to learn to be patient with your body! you should really be aiming for around 1lb of muscle a week, so your goal of 50lbs should take around 50 weeks (around a year) this is just a rough figure as you might respond quicker. there are 3 main rules to putting on muscle and they are EAT HARD, TRAIN HARD AND REST HARD!!!! you have to fuel the engine for it work right and so we will start with that. if you are looking to bulkyou will be eating a lot more than you are currently eating. 1500 cals for some one weighing 173 is just not enough! you have to also need to include the right kinds of foods to eat. to start with, i would replace the bagel with oats and have that for break fast. you seem to be eating a lot of whole foods and this is very good. do not be dragged into the supplement world as they are meant mostly for convenience. i would also say that you are not eating enough protein (122g total) and you would need to increase this to at least about 1 gram per lb (173g in your case, maybe even 200g) you can always change after a few weeks if the fat % starts to get too high. as for carbs aim for around 200/250g a day and the rest for you fats. these are just rough figures as i do not know your age and current stats, so you can work with these. below is a sample plan that you can change to fit yourself self better. 8am - oats and 8 egg whites 11am - chicken breast and 3 slices of wholegrain bread 2pm - chicken breast and 1 cup brown rice 5pm - tin tuna and sweet potatoe 8pm - chicken and rice 11pm - chicken and veggies as i said, this is just a sample idea you can follow. just make sure that you are getting about 200g of protein and around 250g of carbs and the rest in fats and you should be okay. you also did not state what your current workout routine looks like, but i hope you are training hard and resting well as well. good luck and look around this site, as it has a whole well of knowledge you can tap from.

Tim, how many chickens do you expect us to slay? 8 egg whites!? i eat 3 and i think that's a lot. Holy crap 8 of them would be a lot of cracking

i have 8 egg whites every morning (yes, every single morning) i am not bored of it, it is just routine for me now. i calculated i have 240 eggs in a 30 day month! i get special discounts at the store i go to now! LOL i think it works out something like 45/48g of protein and i eat 6 meals with about 50g per meal. PS - you do not have to slay the chickens, just a very sore back side, thats all.

where can i find this discount? i would not mind upping my egg intake, but i go through the costco cartons like you wouldnt beleive, and thats only 3 eggs per morning.
