my gym has a national record holder for bench press. The kid is 14-15, weighed 232, drug free and raw, and did 285. There is a sign saying that he was the new national record holder
Age: 18 Height: 5'7" Body Weight: 180-185 BF %: 8 % Incline Barbell: 195 x 8 Squat: 295 x 8, ass to ground Shoulder Press: 175 x 8 Barbell Row: 195 x 8 Skullcrushers: 105 x 10 (All lifts are on 3rd set)

ORIGINAL: IBendBarbells ORIGINAL: JeffKing ORIGINAL: IBendBarbells No dude... he is a young manager at my gym called inshape... everyone knows of him and he is drug free he is only 19 years old.. I assure you there are people out there way higher then those records... I can take a video if you really want to see, id feel kind of weird asking him though and its rare to find him pressing in the evenings. I may be able to find something about him online although I doubt it because he is not into power lifting... he is just a young body builder. You can talk to rippedchick because she also knows som drug free guys in her gym that will break those records at her age.. there are soo many people that don't compete who are so damn strong. Oh and one more thing.. I am not sure if you can really say drug free... any of those guys could have used steroids at one point in time in their life and maintained the strength... Lets say they did this competition 1 - 2 years later but juiced for 2 years are they still considered drug free? You see what I am getting at? No 19 year old at 220 is raw benching 405x10 naturally or with steroids . If he is post a link to his natural raw world record plaese. By the way no teenager at 220 or less has benched over 500 raw even with steroids, and 405x10 is over 500, probably 525-540. Your not taking height into consideration bro... at 5'9 220 is rather beastly.. I am not making an opinion on this.. I am just telling you what I have seen. if I did not see it I may not believe it either... But I am not sure if he puts up 500lbs.. I have never seen him max out. You should check out youtube alot more too.. there are plenty of young guys putting up 405 at low weights 175lbs - 185lbs.. I don't care what your world record scores say there are people out there that do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63_iJfxcxAo&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1WRiQ3Q_T0&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWovCl54638&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWovCl54638&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTGjaFxenQM&mode=related&search= http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc13IdhbGcU&mode=related&search= Some of those guys were short but not one of them being in the 240 weight range. You can't just say well they must be on steroids thats all I ever hear from you. Just because you can't do something there is no reason to start boastin about telling everyone else its impossible. There are some big bench numbers going up all over the place. First off you said a teen who was natural ( like you would even know) benched 405x10......not x1. Do the math 405 x10 is a big difference from x1. As for you tuube, who cares, how do we know what they weigh, or what the age of these people are. Bottom line is you do not read before you post. I never said a 405 bench was a big deal....it is not. Now a 600lb raw bench is impressive. A 400 bench is nothing, I benched 400 at 19 at 218, I had several friends bench it as well who were under 200lbs. I benched 545 raw as an adult at 260lbs.......but so what, the world record was 650 at the time in the 275 class. You seem to have to make this personal so I will paly along. You are not even close to what I have done in competition so keep your foolish opinions to yourself....until you grow up and actually do something.

If you can bench press more than you can squat you should be ashamed.

290lbs in the 242lb class at 14-15 set by Donavan Taylor is the raw natural World record. But your friend might have a record in another federation. http://www.rawpowerlifting.com/records/World/World%20Bench%20Press%20Records.pdf
