motivation killing belly - Thursday, September 04, 2008 3:42 PM
I've been for 3 months working out (both lifting and cardio) and controlling what I eat. Most days I am very happy with the progress: more general strength, some more muscle in general, and fat loss.

In pictures it can be noticed how I lost fat in the face, and overall in the body, except in the belly. Which somedays kills my motivation as it is what I want to lose the most. It just seams like it doesn't want to go away, that everything will cut as much as possible and that will pop out.

What should I do? Any motivation stories of people that have gone through the same? Why is this?

On men the last reserves of fat are kept on the belly.  It's a biological advantage to keeping your vital organs warm if you live in the colder environment.  When you start to see your abs, then you know you are down below the 10% BF range.  At least, that's what I was told.  My abs are still in hiding.

You just keep going!
At this point I think it is all about what you are eating. I have the same problem too.
