I know there are so many of these and yes im sorry but the others are a little old except the bench and people make progress, so I just wanted to see everyones scores for teen section. bench:160 just now deadlift 190 ( so close to 200 pounds just cant lock it) squat: they scare me to much to do heavy weight lol

bench: 225 squat: 215 deadlift: no idea, I need to rehab my back more before doing heavy. And d line, if squats really scare you that much, do your heavy sets in the smith machine. It isn't as good as a free bar, but you HAVE to do heavy squats to get great results from your legs. I'm guessing you play football too, squats will help considerably with stablity etc.

Yeah man just practice good form and get comfortable with squats and then increase the weight gradually. slow and steady wins the race, rather then loading the bar and injuring yourself, but definately incorporate them into your routine.

Yeah, i guess so twisted. Never really have had trouble holdin onto the bar. I guess it is all those years of baseball and swinging heavy bats. That or the wrist curls we gotta do in the offseason. -Kyle

Guess I will update with my official school maxes from last week that are gonna be going up on the weight board. Bench-255x1=255 Squat-365x3=395 Powerclean=255x2=270 I was kinda dissapointed because I knew that I could have gotten higher on bench and cleans, but I guess I will just have to wait till next max outs to get it.

The top overall kid weighed 220 (he went to my school) and got 280. The only reason he attempted it was so he could try and get the school record (he beat it by 5lbs). Everyone, even all the coached from the other schools, was like holy ****.

ya so.. here are my stats.. I am 17, and 195lbs Bench: 195 Squat: 315 x3 w/ good form Deadlift: 250... w/ a hex bar i havent done deadlifts in a while, i think i hurt my back during the football season while i am on the topic of squats and deadlifts, whenever i do them i always get some pain in my back. I always have people watch my form and I watch myself in the mirror and my backs always in perfect position. I just think that my back is just too weak, any pointers?
17 years old max bench 190 lbs max squat 315 3 times weight 195 lbs height 6'2" goal: be 225lbs by august
