Strange as it may seem, my heaviest bicep curl on record is with dumbells-90x3. I train more powerlifter style than I have in the past, but its still pretty rare for me to ever totally max-out
best lifts

Squat 295x6
Bench 175x3
Deadlift 285x1
Leg Press 800+ for reps

7 and 3/4'' wrist at 5'11''

Mine is around the 130 mark, but the form isn't particularly good.

135 for 7 reps has been my all-time best so far.  I don't normally train that heavy.  Those numbers came from the Max-OT workout program when I was doing that particular workout.

My form was good.  Meaning, not straight up against a wall but full ROM, slow and controlled, no swinging the weight up.

Hi well i just started doing this myself about 3 weeks
and i did buy a barbell set 120lbs max but right now
i am useing 20lbs for my curls. i do 25 reps for
the curls not sure if thats enough to build mussels
in my biceps. i also do 100 squats with the 20lb
barbell i also use 40 lbs dumbells useing both
hand with the dumbells 25 reps on those
then i repeat the process all over
again for about 15 to 20 minutes.

---------------------------------------------------------

age 45
hight 5'5"
weight 185
reps 25 each
squats 100 each

you need more weight and less reps for strength.
you have to sweat to achieve your goals.

No cheating, and with 8 reps I can do 95 as my best. I usually do this near the end of my workouts since it takes almost all the energy out of my biceps.

i dont believe this for one moment. even professional strongmen would find that hard with strict form. get a video up, if you can.

Iron,  the point of doing it is because it's there to be done.  It's fun to push yourself as hard as you can.  Most of us are pretty comfortable with our understanding of what is pain and what is injury.  Most of us are able to know if our form has become so ****ty that we are going to throw out our back trying some weight we really aren't ready for.  And most importantly, most of us just really love to look down at that olympic bar with 45s on each side and then pick it up and curl it.  It just looks and feels soo damned cool.

135 for 4 was my personal best, it was last year.. the same time I was rowing close to 200lbs (low reps, of course)... right now I'm not sure what I could get, probably about 5 reps with 115 on a good day.
