Is it too early to ask where you went from there?
Once you were finished - did you go back to max-ot, and how did you find your new found 'max' changed what you were lifting before?

After the 12 week CB program I went to London for 10 days and took my training break.

Now that I'm back, I'm trying out a program for 30 days that is in the A to Z Fitness Secrets eBook and the program specifically is by Tom Venuto. It's not in the BFFM book as that is more geared towards nutrition and this book is geared towards actual routines and such.

I've found that I can do 315 lbs 1 time.. which was the goal.. and that the weights I was doing on Max-OT.. are higher.

And oddly enough when I took those 12 weeks to focus on bench and everything else was sort of maintain and rest, I was able to beat out old records like the squat without doing anything near my old Max weights.

I'll go back to Max-OT. Once I'm done testing a few more programs and telling people about them.

I wish I could afford these e-books. It'd be nice for me to add some iron to the barbell. make it bend ya know. But for now I'll have to try and decipher what the program contains by looking at what you guys post....sorry I'm saggin the info from you guys.

Skip 4 bad Hollywood movies. That's pretty much the price of most books plus bonues.

No. Once I stopped strength training and went for size (supersets, reps) a lot of strenght was lost.

Of course, my other body parts came back up fast becuase I paid attention to them. But my bench went from 325 lbs for 2 reps back to 245 lbs for 4-6 reps. Once I did 270 lbs but that was when I was not doing any super-setting whatsoever.

The size stayed!
