You know, I have to ask: Why does MuscleTech make so much noise about stacking Leukic with Gakic (besides the obvious monetary incentive)? Could it be that if they didn't advise stacking it with a vasodilator, you wouldn't notice any difference? Come on, peeps. Think about it. No scientist in his/her right mind would jeopardize the results of a study by throwing two unknown compounds into the experiment at the same time. The obvious question you should be asking is "which supplement is causing the results (if any)?"

You can stack NO vasodilator supplements like Gakic or Nitrix or NO-Xplode with greasy French fries and you'll STILL get a wicked pump -but that doesn't mean the French fries are anabolic for cripe's sake.

MuscleTech claims that Leukic (a combination of an anti-catabolic amino acid and a Keto acid) can initiate protein synthesis without manipulating hormone levels. That's a mighty big claim to stomach, considering no one else has made these two remarkably common compounds do that for the past twenty years.

Call me skeptical. I'm waiting for MuscleTech to publish their control group studies (the ones that measure Leukic's effect on protein synthesis absent the vasodilator "assist") before I part with that much protein money.

Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

well muscletech always seems to do studies with their new products and publish their results in magazines. All we can do is wait for their magazine article or web article.

I am in 100% agreement with this.   They came out with GAKIC and had two studies immediately available.  For Leukic they quote two references but those aren't available on pubmed, only in their respective journals.  Without being able to see the studies for ourselves, we have to assume they're quoting stuff out of context in the way that favors their product and profit the most.  For all we know it's BS.  Or, it could really be wonderful.  Without a randomized, blind and controlled study, you can't really tell.  I want to see the study.  If they can back it up, I'll probably buy some.  Until they do, they won't get my business.

I have used Gakic for the first time today.   About 5 minutes after I took it I felt energy, not really a caffeine high, just a natural energy feeling.  I did Back today and I did my Max weight on Rows and I did like 3 extra reps more than normal.  I did the same amount of weight on most things and a few slightly higher and I did more reps and did more in a shorter time, my recovery was excellent.  I didn't even really feel tired when I got done lifting even though I did a really good 50 minute back workout and like I said hardly got much rest between sets and still went strong.  This stuff works you won't lift but maybe 10% more weight, but the stuff keeps you going and going,  you feel fresh through the whole workout.  I would say that says something.

listen guys. I am an engineer; i question and analyze everything heavily. I am not going to sit here and tell you what is causing my gains unless I am absolutely sure what is doing it. Here is my info

I am eating about 4100 cals a day on a maintained diet. I am taking V12 Turbo and LEUKIC. Thats it.

This is my third week of getting back in to the gym, so its hard for me to tell if its just me getting back in shape or getting some serious gains. I will say, that I am stronger than I have ever been. Yesterday I sat down to do close grip bench, and I was considerably stronger. I usually take about 135 and rep 10-12 times. or 155 8-10 times. I put the 135 on and cranked out 12, it felt to light. So I put on 155 and that felt too light. I put on 185 and cranked out 8 reps. Than I put 205 on and did 4 reps. I work out alone, and I think I maintain a good level of intensity. I have never lifted over 200 on close grip..ever

Im not about to tell you to rush to the shelves just yet, but I will tell you that all of the things I am doing are definately working. I have also gone from 177 to 182.

It could be the 4100 calories actually, why you are getting bigger.

Ok here is my established standing on Leukic. So far it sounds like it does what it is suppose to...keeps you in an anabolic state. Being Anabolic is what we all want right? For me I work my butt off staying anabolic all day and I like it that way. Lots of protien intake and supplement timing, also eating the right foods. For people that have trouble finding time to tweak all of these things to keep in an anabolic state (especially while sleeping) Leukic sounds perfect it saves you the trouble of running around to keep your body in the anabolic state. I dont think its a miracle supplement but I do think than when its combined with someone who isnt always in an anabolic state you will likely see some dramatic results.

I need help gaining weight.  What I have been doing is taking Leukic for 1 month, consuming 10,000 calories per day, 500 g of protien per day, and weight training 2 hrs per day.  I am also taking superpump 250, CE2 ester creatine tablets, and taking a multivitamin.  Do you have any suggestions for me?

To get into a anabolic state you need to be constantly keep your body building muscle therefore protien sythesis is absolutely essential. So keep feeding your body cosistant protien throughout the day BCAA's are also essential in protien systhesis. Doses of casean whey and arginine before bed will help keep your body anabolic while you sleep which is usually a catabolic state(opposite of anabolic...bad!). So in closing eat (drink) lots of protien and BCAA's and a constant dose of arginine (NO2 products) will help as well.
