i hate it when people get tattos that are gay they'll get them all up thier arms and stuff and they look stupid
im not saying that tatoos are dumb just dumb tatoos are dumb if you get one at least make it cool or dont show it off

first off, do you have any tatts, if so what are they?
secondly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i have 4, i have a gaurdian angel on my right upper arm, the head of my brothers old pitbull on my left forearm, a tribal gecko crawling up my upper inner left arm, and a celtic star on my lower left arm. i dont think any of these are "gay" or dumb.

degoar u just got pwnd,but ya like what he said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. if u think someones tatt is gay then dont look at it!!! cuase they prolly like it and it is theres.

I personally dont like tattoos full stop, or piercings, i have no piercings even though my g/f keeps asking me to get my ear done, i have and will get no tats as once theyre there, theyre there forever and id hate to see something on my body everyday that shouldnt be there and the only true proper drug i have done is alcohol, which the liver regenerates from if drank moderately anyway.
I was working in some guys house who looked damn mean
6'3 at around 260lbs, he had a powerlifter type build and had tats EVERYWHERE

getting your rank tatooed after retiring from the usmc seems to be pretty popular nowadays.. i can name 2 friends of mine that do, and they dont look dumb at all
one question though, if you were to get a tatoo on your arm/shoulder when you were small, then started working out, wouldn't you eventually get "stretch marks" in the tatoo?

actually the "high" that you can get when getting tattooed are your endorphins, which is a natural pain killer. which is why a woman can get tattooed in a more painful spot and take it a lot better than most men. the one i got of a tribal gecko on my inner arm, which takes up all of my inner arm, hurt like hell, but the tattooist said that i took it better than most "hardcore guys". so i guess it all depends on the person with wether or not they actually enjoy the tattoo.

oh and to ColdSteel, since you are prone to getting stretch marks on your arms and shoulders when you bulk them up, yes they can show in the tattoo, but the tatt is there and will grow with your skin, just like it will shrink with your skin too. but the tatt would not actually space out or anything, and getting a tatt that goes over stretch marks, hurts very bad!

pwnd? why are people so stupid anyway back tats are cool its just people get such stupid looking tatoos i have no problim with them i dont think they are gross or anything i just hate the ones with abunch that you cant make out what they are its like just coloring your arm with a bunch of different colors

yeah mine took about 3 hours and i'm not a very big guy, i ran out of adrenaline about an hour and a half through.. by the time it was over i was so high my vision was supervivid and i was shaking and all of that.. pretty trippy.
no quarter, that sounds like a really cool idea. both of those images have a very classy, traditional look to them and i think they'll look great.

the only thing about tatts and bodybuilding is that when you want to be a good bodybuilder, you will want your body to be somewhat ripped, and sometimes you'll want your body to be tanned. when you do both these things its hard to have a detailed tatt. like the angel i have, if i wanted to get ripped, the beauty of the angel would be sacraficed from it. thats why if you get a detailed tatt, try to make it somewhere that if you do get bigger or smaller or ripped or whatever, the tatt wont be sacraficed from it. like the one that usmc has on his back, if he got bigger and/or more ripped, the tatt would still be easily recognizable.

so to no_quarter, the tatt that has the blue sheild would be awesome and would more than likely never alter in a way that would make it unrecognizable. but with the eagle, even though it is wickedly sweet, if you do get it, just make sure they use tribal black ink, and thicken the outline, which i couldnt really tell from the picture, but it looks like its already like that. and by the way, you wouldnt happen to be a led zeppelin fan would you? with your username, i thought i would ask. or maybe a tool fan, they redid that song a while back.

Alright thanks for the tips, I'll definitely do them in bold black ink.
And yep I love Led Zeppelin, I couldn't think of a user name but that song was playing so I figured it would be a decent choice.
