creatine pills

hey im looking for a good creatine pill format because i workout directly after school and i know you are suppose to take creatine 30-45mins before workout so it would be more convenient to just pop a pill in during 5th period. any suggestions? and also should i be taking it after workout as well?

I take mine while working out since I have so many other supplements to take after, www.everything-creatine.com suggest that the most affective time to take creatine on workout days, would be after working out, you should really read that web site, it will answer most all of your questions

Its more effective to take some creatine after workout depending on what the supplement is. What did you have in mind?

Try Purple-K its what im taking right now for my creatine. 2 pills 30 min before workout and 2 pills within 60 min after workout and thats it. Works good for me so far but i havent been on it long, looks promissing and at a good price of 42$ Can. I also know Amonoval works AMAZINGLY but its rather expensive.

Your really only supposed to take 5g's of creatine a day, if your taking 4 pills a day thats probably too much, anything more and your just going to piss it out. Also it takes longer for the pills to hit your system from what I've heard, but not sure on that. Go here and buy this creatine, cheepest you will find the stuff http://www.supplementdirect.com/ Now it's in powder form and you said you ddin't want that, but what I do is take 2.5 grams before and 2.5 grams after. It's very small amount, just carry it in a zip lock. Put the powder in your mouth and wash it down with a drink of water, it works great.

I always took 5g for a serving size, but I recently heard that a lot of creatines are being refined so to get the same affect, you can take a lower dosage? Any thoughts?

some stuff on creatine.. first off pill form is the best because it "helps protect" the creatine as it goes through your stomach. the reason why people pee so much is because creatine is turned into a waste product (creatinine) as it sits in your stomach.. now poweder form...i prefer cell-tech. i've had excellent results with this supp. the reason is, creatine cannot go straight to your bloodstream and muscles it needs a "transporter" which is insulin. cell-tech if you look at the ingredients has a lot of sugar and alpha-lipoic acid which is suppose to increase insulin production in your body thus giving you more creatine absorption. now if your taking a pill it obviously doesn't have extra stuff so try taking it with grape juice. grape juice is known to create a spike in insulin production. now the only thing about those other creatines is that, unless im wrong they're fairly new and dont have the studies and research backing them that monohydrate does. anyway..thats my two cents.

You guys are all overpaying for your creatine, from what I've heard powder is better because it gets into your bloodstream much faster. Secondly if you just take it post workout with your protein shake which should have a lot of carbs for the insulin spike, that should help the creatine get into your muscles, rather than buying the creatine with crap all in it.

The powder has always worked a thousand times better for me, but who knows. Secondly Cell-Tech is monohydrate it was the first form of creatine I used and it is a complete money pit joke compared to cellmass. Theres more sugar than creatine in it. The reason they came out with CEE-Pro is because the bodybuilding world is beginning to turn its back on monohydrate.
