Maxed out today so i could figure out where im at right now. So I go up to squat and do it like this:
185x4
275x4
315x2 with bottom of suit
465x0(Suit straps on bad)
465x1(smoked it)
485x1/2(got it up and then lost balance and stepped forward.)

That was gay, gay gay gay. I really thought id be able to do about 500. But I think that i didnt warmup good enough and i havent used a squat suit in over 2 years.

bench single day. [warm-up]

[135x13, 225x6, 250x2 shirt on, 275x1]
295x1, 315x1, 325x1, 330x1.

I just tied my state goals which will put me at 350 or over 350 at states....yes

Im gonna DL tmw....that should be fun


I felt sick again today but less sick then i should have felt. I threw up yesterday so I felt like 85% better.

DL single last friday

[135x12, 225x8, 315x4, w/suit 385x1] 405x1, 415x1, 435x1, 455x1-barely

I was kinda disappointed but I broke my goals so I guess I have to adjust that. I was hopin for about 500 and I didnt really even come that close.

Im gonna squat today again so hopefully I can get up some weight taht will put me close to what I can do. I dont expect to do excellent but bout 20 lbs more then last time.

So I actually got my mac today which I did really good on today (squat).
185x12, 225x8, 315x4 (straps on), 345x1, 365x1, 385x1, 405x1, 450x1, 475x1, 525x1.

I decided to jump extra high on my last set since I was so tired. But it was good. My first meet is comeing up on saturday....im takin this week off to eat and basically rest, wish me luck!

Well here are my opening weights for my meet coming up on saturday. warm-ups in brackets.

squat:[135x12, 225x6, 315x3, 405x1, 455x1] 495-525-anywhere from 535 to 550
Bench:[135x12, 225x6, 245x3, 255x1, 265x1 w/shirt]300-330-340
DL:[225x12, 315x6, 350x3, 365x1, 395x1 w/straps up] 425-455-465ish

Im hopin to take my weight class and take home some hardware. Im just a lil worried bout my warm-up time.

Meet results:
squat-495-535-555
bench-300-325-330(miss)
DL-425-470(miss)-470(miss)

Well I hit a PR of 1310 and walked away with a first place medal and a team trophy in all three events (varsity, JV, Womens).

I've been told by my trainer that I did 555 (squat) easy and could have done 565, so he claims that I'm gonna do a state record of 625. Which would be awesome. I got 7 weeks until states. I'm gonna start DLing twice a week and lifting heavy at all times. My DL needs to be at least 515 for me to do good. I'm go0nna start training with knee wraps every workout and buy some supplements and possibly a cheap squat suit to lift in.

I had a great time back though.

I added some new stuff in my assistance lifts. I was pretty disappointed that I coundt get my 330 bench at the meet. I'm gonna start my 7 week squat and DL jump. I really gotta focus on this stuff really hardcore. I might cut out bench on 2x a week and squat and DL 2x a week. Like this:

Monday:DL
Tuesday:Squat
Wednesday:Bench
Thursday:DL
Friday: squat

I would just DL on saturay but im busy for the next few weeks.

Changed my workout aroudn entirely. I also switched my deadlift stance from sumo to conventional...I had great results.

I didnt even squat today....im still really sore. I hope I'm not gonna be too sore for the testing tmw. I really wish taht I could not go to this. Its kinda nerve racking.

I thought I did fairly well. But i wasnt to impressed with my 40 time but I did decent on it. Top 5 i'd say (for LBs). But we'll see how everything goes and if tehy call me. Me and my dad decided that imnot gonna accept anything less then full tuition. Which is fine with me. I

I love the game of football and everything but its hard u kno. And I have no chance of playin pros,,,so I might as well do good in school if i can. I'll def miss the game but it'd be nice to drop some fat and powerlift in some meets for fun. I LOVE powerlifting. I hate to say it but more then football.

First day of new workout and I alrady had to switch days around becasue of a few problems.

Deadlift Assistance Day:
Platform DL w/chains:275 3x5 (90+ lbs added at top)
SLDL-225-3x5 (used wrist straps)
Bent Over Rows-175-3x5 (used wrist straps)
Close Grip Underhand Pull Downs-150 lbs-2x15 (used wrist straps)
Glute/Ham-3x10-bodyweight (added 25 lb dumbell on last set)

I got an excelent back burn today. I usually dont feel it that bad but I like this workout. I think it'll help my DL a lot. Heavy DL on thursday (8x2)

4x3 Squat day (my personal favorite)

Parallel Squat:
[wide stance-45x5, close stance-45x5, 135x10, 225x5, 245x2, 275x1, 315x1]-(add knee wraps..havent recieved new squat suit yet)385x3,405x3, 415x3, 430x4
Narrow Manta Ray Squat-275-285-295x3,3,3
Leg Press-750x5,5,5 800x3,3

Felt like I had a great workout...on track for my over 600 squat. Cant wait.
