Yea they're illegal. Nitrous is illegal to use or have hooked up on a car being driven too :)

Been off for a few days. Got to read your comments; however, you’ve got to read the post correctly before making judgments. I said 2.5 lbs. of “Solid Muscle” (or Lean Body Weight) not total Body Weight during the 4 week PH cycle.  To say 2.5lbs. is useless is ludicrous, anyone can benefit from any muscle gain. If you can gain 2.5 lbs. (32.5oz meal) and keep it buy eating only one extra meal, more power to ya. But, realize that’s total weight and not muscle, now that’s what I call useless.

 
The 2.5 lbs of muscle I put on during the PH cycle I still retain and then some during my PCT for a total of a about 14lbs.of muscle (BW=7lbs.). This was done by reducing total body fat weight and replacing same with muscle and for me that’s good because I’m 67 and a hard gainer.
 
As for the PH cycle, apparently, you don’t understand how a PH cycle may work. For the most part, the effect of a PH cycle doesn’t necessarily start at the time of the PH ingestion. With some it may take a few days, a week or more in extreme cases.
 
There will always be some disagreement as to whether or not a PH cycle(s) will benefit anyone. But in my case, I feel it has. Unfortunately there are some us who are not patient enough and may tend to abuse the use of PH’s (or Steroids) by not formulating proper PH/PCT cycles accurately in the hopes one might see overnight results.

As information, here’s a rundown of my gains/losses during my PH/PCT cycle:
 
START
Body Wt.=218XBF27%=58.86 (Total Body Fat WT.)
218-58.86=159.14 (Lean Body WT.)

After 4-week PH Cycle
Body Wt.220.5XBF26.75%=58.98 (Total Body Fat WT.)
220.5-58.98=161.52-159.14=2.38 Lean Body Wt. Difference.

After 8-week PCT cycle*
Body Wt.225XBF24%=54.00 (Total Body Fat WT.)
225-54.00=171-159.14=11.86 Lean Body Wt. Difference

Total Body Wt. Difference=7 lbs.
Total Lean Body Wt. Difference=14 lbs.
 
* Note: During my PCT I reached a max of 230BW.

Is it really? Well, then yeah... I guess that's as legit of an analogy as it gets. The thing is, you can buy nitrous legally and have it for show setup purposes can't you? I wouldn't know, so I'll ask... how easy is it to obtain anabolic steroids? I ask because I know I can go to whatever online website and get a Nitrous kit for a car... is it basically the same thing for roids? And is possession of roids a crime as well.. or just the use?

Well they are just like any other kinda hard drung to find at first, but once you find them, chances are you're gonna be able to keep a hook up. I live in San Diego, like a 30 minute drive from Mexico, who has every drug you can possibly think of, for very cheap. Some are fake ripoffs, but usually the person/pharmacy selling them will know what they are talking about and can be trusted come right up with your 50 pills :) But you don't go to TJ, its a horrible corrupt place goddamnit!

This could be a useful thread if any of you knew WTF you were talking about.  Most of you don't have a clue.  FNSKINNY, I don't know what the hell you were taking, but any pill form of steroid taken once every other day isn't going to do squat.  You might wan't to go get checked out cause whatever made your a-hole pucker and start bleeding wasn't no damn steroid.  caffeine, a month isn't going to hurt you.  However, read up on it and know what you are doing, before, during and after your cycle.  But, if your under 25........DON"T TAKE ANYTHING

Jram. you are right. I dont know much at all about PH/PCT. However what i meant by that comment was that 2.5 LBM is very much acheivable in a 8 week period with just protein supplementation so i was commenting that i didnt see any ADDITIONAL benefit that you derived.

Also sir, i didnt know you were 67 (and it doesnt show your age in your profile either). You are completely right in saying that 2.5 lbs of lean muscle is impressive at youre age. Please dont think that i was looking down or criticising you. I just didnt see what extra benefit you had with PH's as opposed to protein supplementation.

I took anabolic steroids in pill form, obviously if you know so much about them, then you understand all aspects of the pills. I was told from the seller(s) absolutely do not take 1 pill every day as they said the side effects would be bad. A friend of mine tried them before I got any, and he was taking 1 every other day and said he was going nuts. being my normal self and always overdoing things, I started with one a day then 2 a day, and lost it from there.

My Two Cents:  Gentlemen, I have been training hard one hour-a-day, five days a week, for less than a year.  I take a multi-vitamin, protein powder, creatine, glutamine and branch chain amino acid.  That's the sum total of my supplements.  In that time, I went from 158 pounds, 18% body fat to a competitive weight of 138 pounds, 4.5% body fat.  I have added an incredible amount of lean muscle.  Since June of 2005, when I started training to enter my first body building competition until today, as I prepare to compete at the 2005 FAME World Bodybuilding Championships in Toronto, Canada in less than two weeks, I have entered and won two state bodybuilding competitions (Georgia and Alabama) in my age class and placed third in an Open Men's weight and height class. I have done this 100% natural.  I feel great, I look great and at 62 years-of-age, I am full of piss and vinegar.  All of this without one drop of illegal s***.  So if Old Navy can do it "clean" so can you.  And when you stand up on a stage and get judged as you and not some doped up muscle head, you can stand proud.

To the kid who started the thread, basically you're not going to get any positive advice about steroids.  It's a :nono: topic.  Check out the forums at bodybuilding.com.  There are plenty of guys there who juice and aren't afraid to admit it.

One more thing, if you can't bench 100 lbs more than your weight then you're not even ready for roids.  You have to reach your body's utmost potential before you can go beyond.  Taking steroids outside of those conditions is like trying to fix your gutter without a ladder.

Sorry jram i was under the impression that you were around 18 so that you're gains would be greater.

In your situation, yes 2.5lbs of lean mass is good.
