"Ok, so a guy that weighs 160 can bench his bodyweight for 40 reps and a guy that weighs 230 can do his body weight for 40 reps. So why can't he do just as many pullups?
"

NO ! that's not what i'm saying,i'm saying : a guy that weighs 160 can bench his bodyweight for 40 reps and a guy that weighs 230 CAN'T do his body weight for 40 reps.

some 230 guy can bench their body weight 40 reps but u can almost count those guys on your hand. there's not a lot.I know more guys that weight 160 and can bench press their body weights 40 reps than 230 pounds guy who can bench press their body weight.

and u said : "The reason why a  lot of big bulky guys can't do many pullups or pushups is because they rarely do bodyweight exercises because theya ren't as good as weights for bulking"

ya that's a good point.that's maybe one of the reasons.

50-60 pullups? What the hell!? I admit that 19 is pretty weak for a school record but for your entire wrestling team to be able to do 50 REAL pullups is just a lie. My school has an elite wrestling team and a few wrestlers were in my gym class...most of them were only able to do around 15ish. I think my school record is in the 30s...

u can't say 15 isn't elite

15 pullups at 220lbs is more elite than 30 at 150lbs

maybe that guy is heavy

and pullups is large grip, maybe those guy when talking about chinups

and "Juststarting" those guys do 50 pullups but not non-stop,they take break between reps.
