Linkin Park, Godsmack, some rap...I like Usher and other rappers like him. Mostly rock.

This is kind of a old topic but i thot i would imform you all of the following. Im to lazy to find the website but i read thing were scientist put thez people in a room and let them listen to all kinds of diffrent music . The studies showed it decreased there testosterone .However there testosterone increased when they listened to music wial watching violent scenes. Note the fact that they werent lifting wial listening to music so lifing and music may have a different effect.

metallica on full blast, if you have not put on metallicas enter sandman full volume while your lifting, then you havent worked out yet. i just went back and read what some of your wrote as music to listen to, what the hell is wrong with you guys....techno? and what the hell is "gay boyfriend" is that a band name?, do you guys even go to the gym? i cant even understand how people listen to rap while lifting, maybe 50 cent, but no one else, for everyone else, your going to the gym to lift some weights, sweat, and get hardcore, not to go wax your legs, play badmitten and sit in the tanning salon, because i know some gyms have those, so sitting in the sona all day and putting on headphones with "GAY BOYFRIEND" playing does not constitute as a day at the gym......grow some balls.

Dude some people just have different tastes in music. I'm not a huge fan of classical, but I can understand the complexities of it and I can understand exactly how someone can be moved by it and grove to love it. The same thing goes for techno. In fact, techno is really just one classification of electronic music. It's obvious you have no interest in this type of music but trust me, it's probably the most popular music world wide. "Techno" can be VERY stimulating while in the gym. It seeks out the same part of you that is seeked out with hard rock, metal, rap, and industrial. It grabs that badass part of our ego and energizes it to the point where you feel like breaking a 45 over your knee! Dude if you had some SICK DNB, breakbeats, you'll go in that gym like a madman. I love that when I'm lifting or rap. When I'm doing cardio, it's usually some house variety as it energizes me. Everyones different... Take me....my thoughts on throwing "Sandman" is about as energy stimulating as classical before bed. I've heard that godamned song soo many times (thank you radio) that it almost doesn't do anything for me. Now throw in "Ride the lightning" or "Justice for All" when Metallica was Metallica (my opinion inserted there) then you would be talking...
