Need a Post Workout Meal...
-
Tuesday, July 01, 2008 10:50 AM
Right now, I have just been eating a banana right after I workout, then a shake 15to20 min. later. Any suggestions on a real post workout meal, btw, I am forever bulking lol.

ORIGINAL: MaverickKeepsitReal Yea, true. I need a suggestion for that meal. depending on when u eat it it may not be as important. generally higher carbs though. i have oatmeal, milk, and steak/chicken when i get home with something like 1/2 scoop more protein powder in the oatmeal just cause it tastes good

some fajitas mav. you know you want to eat that i'm being dead serious... have some chicken breasts thawed and when you get home, bake them in the oven for 30 minutes on 350. slice them up with a knife, and put them in a whole wheat tortilla (if you can handle them) and throw a little cheese on them, maybe some pepper and onions cooked in the microwave with some butter, and then add some hotsauce or whatever else you like. i ate almost 3 chicken breasts one night (fajitas) after i got done lifting during my bulk. it was GLORIOUSLY painful haha

I am going to the store today and getting the ingredients lol. I'll probably just get regular tortillas, I doubt if I can stomach the wheat, but I'll give it a try.

mav.. i've got other ideas if you need them. i love to eat, but the amount that a person like me with a FASTTTttttttt metabolism has to take in to gain weight is just ridiculous. i have eaten until i wanted to throw up.

Alright man thanks. Yea, I think I can gain easily, I have somewhat of a moderate metabolism, not to slow, not to fast. ORIGINAL: MaverickKeepsitReal Yea, true. I need a suggestion for that meal. Why not try the fish-broccoli-rice with cheese sauce that I posted on the healthy recipe forum? It is very easy to make, if you have trouble coooking, and is delicious.
