Yea, I recently read that tuna has a high amount of mercury in it...its supposed to be up there with shark. I still eat it every dam day though....just something to keep in the back of your mind if your eating 2 cans a day.

Tuna with mayo, red peppers, lettuce, celery, grated cheese, salt and pepper, kidney beans and sweetcorn. Cook some penne pasta to go with it and 5 mins to cook and you've got a filling meal!

Tuna w/ celery, mayo, some onion and jalapeno vinegar (VERY LITTLE BIT) Put it between sliced american or cheddar, then put that between some weat bread. Toast on a grill till the cheese melts and enjoy also good with tapatio hot sauce =)

The Best: 1 can water packed tuna 1/4 cup little capers (they're really NOT expensive if you get the big jar) 1/4 sweet onion chopped small pieces Juice from 1/2 a lemon I like to cut a red pepper into "boats" and put the tuna inside. This is amazing. I like cooking more than bodybuilding so try it. to make a meal i eat 6 whole grain crackers with it.

Tuna Cakes: 1 can alabcore tuna 1/8 c dry oats 1 or 2 egg whites Pepper (I like to throw in some chopped green onion and crused red chili peppers to make it spicy, but you can use any spices you like. I have heard a lot of people who like dill in these) - mix all ingredients - make into 3 medium size patties - place on sprayed baking pan/sheet - put in oven on 375 for about 15 min or until slightly brown on top YUM YUM....I like to put them on spinach and enjoy!

beat 3 eggs, some chedder cheese, chili powder, and garlic powder. scramble those together. when the eggs begin to set and get firm, add 1 can tuna. top with tabasco sauce. tastes great.

TUNA BURGERS 2 small cans of chunk lite in water - drain thoroughly 1 large egg 1/2 cup bread crumbs Mix well, form patties, fry with cooking spray or oil 'till golden brown. Serve w/ no bun and lots of ketchup. TUNA MEATBALLS -Same as above except form into balls and roll in flour. Then bake in toaster oven on 450F for 12 minutes. Serve with wheat pasta. ***This is more of a pain to make than any of the others, but is very tasty - also very good left-over

Two things to try. The tuna chunks, Drain the brine off them and then throw them in a salad with red pepper, the tuna is totaly canceled by the pepper. Tuna by itself try yellow fin tuna. Had some for the past week and it is amazing, its slightly more expensive but its worth it for the difference. This said i love tuna + raw salmon its like my lifeblood.
