Hey Newcomer,
I've been lifting weights sence I was 15 and a sophmore. If you take your lifting seriously and stick to a decent diet you can see results without supps. It may take longer but it is safer then a supp. because on the labels most say take if your 18 or older. Like I said I started lifting at 15 year old and 165lbs and that was when I was in the 10th grade. I started on the bench at 95LBS!! Sucked but I kept at it hard every day without supps, by my senior year I was 17 185lbs and benching 240 lbs just from working hard every day. I (very stupidly) quit working out for about 8 months after graduating. Its like starting all over but I'm still in decent shape about 190 lbs and getting stronger everyday with just a good diet of HIGH protien and low calories. I also have been using the Muscel Milk shakes which are very effective at giving protien and LOTS of energy for just starting back lifting. If I were you the best thing is to get a healthy diet going and once you get to where you are lacking stanima and energy start on protien shakes to get your body to slowly build up to supps. and not go from one extrem to another which may give you side effects of nausha and dizzyness which I experienced when I tried just jumping right on to the creatien stuff. Now I'm using a protien shake (muscel milk) and creatine. I'm just switching over to No-Xplod and hoping for good results but don't go overdoing the supps right off, cause it will make you sick and dizzy.

Remember, everyone is different.  For me, I think I was responsive to the creatine for about 2 months. Then, I never responded to it again until I started taking the cellmass.  Now, I can't say definitavely that the cellmass caused me to gain the weight and strength I did over the last month and a half, but I do feel that I was a contributing factor.  Eating right, having your 5 meals a day, taking your protien, and varying your training intensity and routine is all very important.  I do feel comfortable saying that the one scoop of NO-explode helps me to wake up just enough in the morning to have a good workout and the cellmass is helping me with the recuperation and gains.  I've been so impressed with the results of the BSN products, that I recently ordered the Nitrix to try it out and when I ran out of cytogainer I switched to Truemass.

As for filling your body with supplments, like creatine, it is a tough decision.  I don't think it's as bad as injecting or prohormones, but you still have to look at the long term effects on your kidneys and liver.  I'm doing the supps just for a 2 and a halfm month cycle to reach my goals and then I plan on dropping everything and just sticking with a protien drink to maintain.  As a matter of fact, my 2 month cylce is really two smaller cycles, one to gain mass (5 weeks to gain 5-6 lbs of muscle, but I gained about 12 lbs, so I'll assume half of that is fat) and then the second part which is to drop about 5 or 6 lbs of fat (again, over about a 5 week time frame).

I'm with Nicholas on that you should try to make your gains as cleanly as possible, especially when your body is still developing.  When I started working out at 15, I was 5'10" or 5'11" and weight about 132.  I remember walking into the weight room of a brand new sports club they had oppened up, the weight room was really small, just a few machines and free weights, and I had the place all to myself.  I decided to do some flat bench, with an empty 45lb olympic bar, and after about 4 reps, I got stuck and couldn't get it off my chest!  It was pretty sad and a real ego crusher.  I ended up rolling the bar down to my waist and sitting up (no one was in the room to help).  But we all have to start somewhere.  I was a real hard gainer, but after 2 years, when I graduated highschool I was up to about 150lbs (my bodyweight, not my bench).  I spent 4 years in the gym at college and after all that time, had only gained another 22lbs.  Now at 34, I'm weighing 200lbs and this morning I benched 225 for reps of 10.  Exercise, good clean diet, and good quality sleep.

Ok, I'll get off my soap box now....

If you guys are experiencing dizziness it's probably cause of your hypoglycemic is low. You need food in your system. If your bulking up along with your supplements you need to put on the good food as well. I've experienced the dizziness and the first thing the trainer told me was I needed to eat better. I eat 4 to 5 times a day with a 40/40/20 split of protein, carbs and fat. Pack it on but make sure it's the good lean mass building foods. I'm sure most of you are aware of this but more than likely it's because of no food in your system.

i believe that all of the caffine will dehydrate you during football, i would NOT use it for that. I do recomend it highly for lifting though.

Hi, I'm new around here.

I am 19 years old and 5'11, 170lbs.  I have been lifting for a while now just strictly on a protein diet.  My friend who I lift with, who is about the same size, is taking creatine monohydrate and really likes it.  I told him I'm thinking about getting some N.O.-Xplode because the GNC guy recommended it.  But, my friend said that I would see better physical results by just using creatine monohydrate instead.  What do you guys think?

It is in a lot of us, the addiction to take something which will improve us in some way. Nutrition companies exploit this so easily.

I have seen NO Explode on the shelf and though I would usually ignore products like this, I was intrigued to see what others thought of it.

Reading through the posts I was a little disappointed to think that people were being to taken in by this one.

The benefits seem to be summarised by increased size, increased motivation and increased strength during workouts.

Along with the side effects reported in the posts here, it is easily guessed what are the active ingredients responsible for the results seen and that they are not necessarily related to increased nitric oxide release.

Anything with creatine is going to cause an increase in water retention and hence size. Creatine is a 'cheap results' ingredient and masks any real muscle gained by taking the product.

The increased motivation is perhaps mostly attributed to the caffeine and taurine added. It is not hard to guess that there is caffeine added after reading that people need to constantly urinate.

And then there is also tyrosine and vicamine added which may also add effects that were claimed to be a cause of increased nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide is synthesised from arginine, of which there is in the list of ingredients and therefore makes the claims legitimate, but if you really wanted to increase nitric oxide I would have thought sniffing poppers or popping a viagra before workout would do it. I wouldnt advise that though for the risk of personal injury.

Results speak for themselves but I think people should be more aware of what they are taking. This appears more to be a stimulant supplement with a blend of cheap scientific knowledge. An espresso and aspirin would do the same trick.

Be your physical and mental best by getting the results from effort and motivation by a sound mind. You learn nothing the cheap way.

I'd heard good stuff about NO-explode before and was considering buying some when I (eventually!!) lose enough body fat to start bulking again. It kinda worries me that people have these sideeffects though, surely it can't be good for your health. My previous bulking phase I just took whey protein isolate, glutamine, creatine monohydrate, multi vitamin & fish oil and got pretty godd results. Still undecided on whether to try it...

Ive gone through 2 buckets of No Xplode Fruit Punch (Good Taste).Had great results at first.Seems now after several months that its having less and less effect.Im personally going to give it a break for a couple months and try Universal Nutritions Storm. As far as dizziness, cut back on how much you take until the dizziness goes away.Worked for me.

Yes, It is necessary to take breaks from NO-explode once in a while.

As far as bloating goes.. I haven't bloated a bit.

And for all you people out there that are getting sick from it... try this little nugget of advice.

Mix 2 scoops of No-eplode with some type of gatorade (10 oz)... the reason you're getting sick is b/c there are no electrolytes in your system from you fasting (like the label recommends)

try some gatorade with the supplement with at least 2 hours of fasting and you should have NO problems with feeling sick, and if you do.. drink a little bit of gatorade at the gym if necessary

I HAVE GONE THROUGH MY FIRST JAR OF NO-EXPLODE. (LEMON FROST)

PRETTY GOOD STUFF, HELPS THE W/O AND STAYS WITH ME FOR A GOOD WHILE AFTER.  NO LIGHT HEADEDNESS OR GAS, JUST GOOD WORK OUT SUPPORT.

I FOUND NO EXPLODE SHOWED GREAT GAINS IN SIZE AND PERFORMANCE IN JUST ONE JAR. I USED 3 SCOOPS AND USED 45 MIN PRIOR TO WORK OUT...Smile

I started taking NO Explode last Thursday for my upper body workout.  I wanted to test my tolerance, as it recommends, so I took 1 scoop.  Then after 30 minutes and not effects, I took another.  I began working out and after 30 more minutes, I took a third scoop.  My heart rate did not elevate more than normal.  I was not dizzy and did not experience any headaches.  After the third scoop, I did notice a slight tingle throughout my body.  I didn't feel like I was more focused or energized than normal.  I also didn't experience the "rage" some people seems to have.  I did notice that I was able to make it through my entire workout and even though my muscles were spent, which is normal, I still had energy.  That workout was 105 minutes.  Normally, around 60 minutes, I start to yawn and get sleepy since my carb stores have run out, but not that day.  I also upped the weight on several of my lifts, but they were due for an increase at that time anyways.  An hour after working out, I noticed that my upper body was more exhausted than normal even after my meal.  At around 4pm, I drank a tea hoping the caffeine would help give me a little more pep.  That night I couldn't get to sleep for a long time.  Since giving up soda, I've become very caffeine sensitive and I think the NO Explode and that tea at 4pm were the problem.  I usually stop drinking caffeine by 6pm and have no problem, but not that night.

The next day, on leg and ab day, since I didn't seem much of a noticable effect from the 3 spread out scoops, I took all 3 at once.  After an hour of taking the scoops (1/2 hour into my workout), I became very tired and noticed I was sweating profusely.  I quickly went to the bathroom at 24 Hour and had a little puke.  Mainly, I think my body just wanted to dry heave.  I sat on the cold tile floor for about 20 minutes and felt better.  There was a pretty good pool of sweat when I got up.  The minimal sleep from the night before probably played some role in this.  After that little episode, I continued my workout.  During this workout, I did notice that I had more energy... at least after my little break. :)  The workout lasted 90 minutes.  I slept fine that night.

I rested over the weekend and did upper again today.  This time, I had 2 scoops.  Again, I didn't notice any physical changes such as dizziness, headaches, or even noticably more energy.  I did note that I did a few more reps per exercise and increased some of the weight (but again these were due for an increase in weight at least).  Again, I had enough energy and drive to finish the workout.  It lasted 105 minutes.  We'll see how I sleep tonight.

Tomorrow is leg and ab day again.  I'm going to do the 2 scoops like today and seem if I have the experience I did on the last leg day.  Hopefully the lower dose will work better.

A few notes are that in all 3 instances I took NO Explode 2 hours after my same old breakfast.  I also noted that I've dropped a few pounds.  I've been trying to loose body fat for about a year now and had gone from 230 - 195 lbs.  That was 28 to 17% body fat.  The morning after taking it for the first time, I weighed in at 189.  Until then, I hadn't reached into the 180s.  I weigh every morning to watch trends in weight and body fat % so I figured it was just water weight.  However, this morning, Monday, I'm still at about 189 and my bf% has dropped slightly.  With the amount of water I'm drinking and the length of time since the drop (4 days), I don't think it's water.

Basically, the stuff seems to be having at least a slight effect on my workouts and on my weight.  Beyond the one sweat and puke episode, I've been fine so I'm going to give it at least until I finish the 1.81 tub.  I think I'm going to like this stuff though.
