Level 13 quarry, eh? You should be laughing in no time. I've only got a level 6 and it seems that myself and one other are the only ones interested in upgrading it anytime soon...... bunch o' slackers.

i dont think i've ever had ships on the way except twisted giving me wine which i havent been able to use yet

I thought you had a tavern built sorry david, but once the taverns built you will see its effect, my population skyrockets so fast i cant build my town hall up as i have little marble LOL
Ive colonised a marble island now with a VERY high level quarry so i should be able to get jheft some much needed marble, yet, your wine is on the way, will be reaching you in the next 12-14 hours sent it this morning.

lol yea i just didnt know i had to get a tavern, im 4.5 hours away from discovering "wine press" so hopefully then things will work better.
actually i just put everyone on there so it'll only take 1.5 hours but im losing like 250 gold an hour

@David: Yeah, I'm fine with 1:1 trades on luxury resources. For now, anyone else who doesn't have a marble town needs it more than me, so send it to RedJeep or whoever needs it.
@Reznor: Yeah, the quarries and the mine on my crystal island are all pretty high level, but you need so much marble when your buildings get high level that you can never have enough. I should be alright when I get my second marble town's population up... I'm cramming wine down their throats and have built a museum - I'm gonna try to keep the happiness score around 500 for as long as it takes to get the population up.

You should always try to send in multiples of 300 so you don't waste boats. You've got a boat with only 2 marble on it!

lmao i sent 602 cause it was either that or 598 (couldnt get it in the middle) and thought it would be dickish to rip u off by 2 marble lol. oh well.

Jheft, how do I build a museum? My population is decreasing by .6 people per hour, I need something to keep them happy lol.
I just sent out some troops to pillage two wine towns, so that should help.
Only 9 hours until Twisted's stuff gets here.

It's a thing you have to research, then you have to enter into cultural treaties with other players to get cultural artifacts for your museums. The museum is worth 20 happiness per level, plus 50 for each artifact. It can hold one artifact per level.

You need to research professional army. That will allow you to build swordsmen and phalanx; a level 4 barracks is needed for the phalanx.
If you go to the library link in your academy and click on any technology an index appears to the left containing not only the technologies, but data on each building type, unit type, boat, resource, etc. not unlike Civilization's Civilopedia. Very handy.
It will tell you exactly what will change when leveling up your buildings and other usefull things, like what level your barracks has to be to build certain units, or how many scientists a certain level of academy allows.

Well, I got a diplomacy letter from the guy I just attacked saying

That's verbatim. I found the spy a few days ago, it didn't say who it came from though.

I may have some wine coming. If not I'll get him to buy it, when he does I'll blockade his harbor, take my sulfur back, and steal his money!! BAHAHAHAHAHA.
