XXXRicanXXX, are you sure you want to enter a cutting contest at 13% BF? Unless you're looking to go down to 3%, in that case, GO FOR IT!Smile

IMHO, if I were at 13% I'd be happier than hell, and I'd be bulking for a year!

Rican is a stud man... PT as well. I have no doubts he'll give people a run for their money.

ok, as long as everyone agrees on the start date of 02.13.05, then I'd say we'll start then. Don't worry, there'll be constant updates from now until then on who's in, and I'll be putting together an excel spreadsheet to kepe track of everyone.

I will be in :D

I started working out seriously about 2 weeks ago, my BFP is 27.4 making me 123kgs (270lbs) at 185cm (6'1")

I won't get near my goal weight in 14 weeks, but definitely would hope to make some serious progress.

Ok, so the lineup is:

Pappy
rippedchick
pwolf66
XXXRicanXXX
AnabolicAnthony
slayerboy
damoose

We start on 02.13.2005. I will setup a journal in the Journal section for the contest for strictly for weigh-ins, we can random chit-chat here or another thread. Will just be easier to keep track of that way. I'll post an updated chart here every week.

I would say we want measurements every Sunday, Monday the latest. Details must include bodyfat %, but may include anything else you want, include comments. Reults each week will be put in a spreadsheet and posted by Tuesday every week.

I don't think we really need judges, because it will be pretty cut and dry. I'm starting to second guess the category thing. Unless we get more people to join, it might leave the challenge a bit uneven on one side. It's up to you guys what you want. Do you feel it is fair to have everyone compete against eachother or do you want to classify % like I mentioned before.

Any ideas for prizes? Fancy tagline underneath your name or nice "Cutting Champion" logo or something?

Any ideas or suggestions?

[EDIT:]Did I miss anyone from the list?Smile
[EDIT:]Added damoose to the list!

Great!

I don't really know how it is to loose weight when you have a fast metabolism and reasonably low bf. Though i do think it might be an idea to have fast and slow losing divisions. yes? no?

Also, with measurements (especially around the waist), do you flex, simply tuck or relax the abs (/other muscles)?

fast and slow divisions? I dunno, I'm thinking with this little amount of people, we just go at it, and whoever gets the most amount of BF % off wins. Wins what? I dunno...LOL. Mutual admiration and respect from the community?

As far as measuring, relax around the waist. Depending on how you're determining your BF %, flex your forearms (hold arm out and make a fist and measure at the widest part). It really does depend on your method. If you're using a website, they should be providing pretty good directions.

Alright y'all. Are ya ready?

One week till crunch time. Last call.

The list and chart are set. Look for a journal in the Contest Journals section. Each week check in with your %. You can provide measurements if you would like, as well as how you measured the %. Not a requirement. If you want to keep a seperate journal for thoughts and feelings you may do so, in a seperate thread either in the Online Journals or Contest Journals sections.

Please post here any additional supplements you might be taking to aid in the cutting process (thermos, carb blockers, etc.) Anything that isn't a normal part of your routine. Also, if you would like to post pre-contest measurements you can do that too

Any last suggestions or comments before we begin the mayhem?

Remember in all of this unpleasant cutting to have fun!Smile
