depending on your age go for it

if your still in your teens i dont think its necessary your body dosent need it and is still growing

if your in your twenties or older.. i dont see a problem with it

im 19 and i was told i would be a fool to not take it.. just to be careful and not abuse it take the 5g's a day no more and drink alot of water

i say go for it, its not risky at all, just another supplement, its not a like a PH lol

edit: umm you can't abuse creatine, any extra creatine you ingest will be harmlessly passed and excreted... for some people creatine does nothing for them mainly because their body already is saturated with it, so taking more doesnt do anything.  But like i said you really cant abuse it...

Listen to sheep, get pure 100% creatine mono.  It is all you need, tastes like nothing, and costs about $4 a month if you take 5g a day (at least the vitamin shoppe brand anyway)

Never heard that it won't do anything for you but in the last 2 weeks I've gained only 4 pounds, 1 of it fat, 3 lean mass. And I've been on creatine the weeks. Don't notice any difference at all. Kind of mad I started using it because I don't think it's doing anything. The only thing I seem to get is cramps all the time, in weird spots like my neck.

I take the cheapo walmart creatine and it works great and has no taste at all. Body Fortress Pure Creatine. I really think that anything other than creatine mono is a waste of money.

You gained 4 pounds of mostly lean mass in 2 weeks and your complaining? Those are ph-like gains.

Do you normally gain 4 pounds/2 weeks? How many weeks you been taking it, you forgot that, could be three, it says the weeks.
........are you sure creatine didnt have anything to do with that.?

Your probably not drinking enough water, you have to get in the habit of drinking lots of water on creatine, its also good for your muscles anyways.  Dehydration is a major cause of cramps.

I don't know what the big question is, it's not like creatine is a mind-altering illegal substance or anything?  Okay, not trying to be a jerk or anything about it.....yeah why not, what have you go to lose?  Beware of the crazy water retention and stomach aches, but otherwise it does offer great results.

How old are you?? How long have you been training... I'm going from memory but it seems that you're fairly young and haven't been training that long.. Why do you feel you need to take creatine?  I'm not being a smartass but seriously asking...
