Hell ya!! They were supposed to release a new one in 2007, but that never happened. Are they even together still? Sinergy I'm talking about.
I'm not too happy with what COB has been putting out lately. Everything after hatecrew deathroll was kinda boring.
I'll check out some of those other bands that you guys mentioned.

I thought about this for a while, and still didn't end up with any conclusions I'm truely happy with.
I will stick with rock, otherwise my list will just be a mess.
I went back and forth and back and forth....
Beatles
Black Sabbath
Led Zepplin, although not the innovators that Sabbath or the Beatles were, just better at stealing/ appropriating music. (still love them buckets, I'm just saying  )
My # 1 favorite band (not all time best band, however increadable, innovative, broad range, buckets of fun, and an entire album about murder)
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Shep, I have to agree Elvis had one of the most honest, genuine, impassioned voices, of our time.

Alright I have finally (knowingly) listened to lincoln park, I watched the parody, and clicked on a couple of their videos...
Guys really??? That does it for you, really?
Don't get me wrong I love some terrible music, and more importantly embarrasing music. So I'm not truely passing judgment, but yikes with the way some of you go on about it, I thought... I don't know what I though, but sure as hell not that.

I too like some ****ty music. I think the pop band Aqua kicks ass for instance but I can still pass judgement on Lincoln Park for being so bad.

Erm, in terms of ''greatest''/ influential, it has to be The Beatles/ Led Zeppelin.
But in my opinion you're talking Radiohead, Coldplay, Sigur Ros, R.E.M.
