Bodybuilda15, can you please post a video because I have competed for several years at Varsity level throughout Florida highschools, and the best kid i ever saw in your weight class was Nick Albert who at age 19 benched 240 to win at states and he had nearly five pounds on you. (FHSAA.ORG to check by the way) If what you say is true, you are competing AT state champion level (With kids who have been lifting for 5 years) and you JUST turned 15.

David1991, you also said that the two of them were basically the same as in that one lifted 80 more and the other lifted 90 more isnt really true. A better comparsion would be by body weight to amount benched. Bench Press/Body Weight bodybuilda15: 1.78 (Just as a comparison, the guy who was third in states AS A SENIOR in the 119 weight class had a 1.76 ratio) taytay: 1.57

Like i said before, showing the difference of amount benched is crap, a ratio is more accurate, and also how old is the guy (TayTay) who benches 305 at 150, because last year the first place guy put up 345, the second 300, which would put your buddy right smack in the middle. (Point is your highschool friend should have records online of him and thats always cool :P) I didn't say you DIDN'T do it i just have my doubts and would like to see them clarified. I just find it highly unlikely that a kid who just turned 15 and isn't even close to being in the prime of his peak weightlifting performance is putting up weight that would have earned you 3rd place in states among a bunch of 18 year olds who have been doing this competitively for years.

Joshua Ciccone of New Smyrna Beach last year won 1st place in states in the 238 pound weight class with a bench of 370. (He weighed 233) That's a difference of 137 and a ratio of around 1.59. You only have a difference of 75 pounds, but your ratio is far greater than that, just going to show its not all about how much you can bench, it's the amount you bench in comparison to your OWN weight, in which you actually win. What i am doubtful about isn't as much as the weight you bench as it is that your ratio is higher than anything i have even heard of for your age, which leads me to think either your body weight isn't quite correct, or you might bench less than what you really do. (OR you have bad form?)

Also, not to get on you even more, but you said early on in the forum that you had been working out on your upper body specifically for about 2 years, yet a few posts above this you said you have been working out everyday for 5 years? Which one is true?

Sorry but how "cut" you look really means nothing. A really skinny guy who isnt that strong can look so because of a really low % of body fat. Most of the powerlifters i know actually look heavy, such as look at the MetRx world strongest men competition; they all look overweight.

bodybuilda, you are extremely cut, i'll give you that but i don't think that necessarily means that you can bench 200 pounds; i know a kid at 119 more cut than you who benches 190. Soccerking; crazy back man, bet that took years of hard work.
