Hey,I just reacently heard about taking Nitric oxide Supplements and i was just wondering what NO does to help your muscles out and how it does it?

Take L-arginine(NO) in cap form prior to bedtime. Promotes release of natural growth hormone. Supplementing with it prior to exercise is actually detrimental.
Current Supplements: Multi-Vitamin, Calcium, Vitamin C
Current Cycle: Cross Country Season

If I'm right I think you're referring to products like N.O. Xplode right? If you are  then I would tell you I've had nothing but good experience with that product, although its pricey. Its basically a big caffeine rush and it helps to keep you mentally focused on your workout. if you're one of those people who is easily distracted or has days where they don't feel they are getting the most out of their time at the gym then I would suggest this. I take it and I feel a lot better about my effort at the gym afterwards.

Dan Mirage posted on this subject,and apparently Nitric Oxide
(L-Arginine ) has been
found to inhibit growth hormone production if taken within 4 hours of exercise.

Most NOs on the market are really too low in dose (4-6 grams L-Arganine) to obtain the proper training effect, they are mostly stimulants (caffeine) and really, that is not what you want when bulking!  Even though it feels good, it is counter productive for optimal growth!

Save the stims for the cutting when you will really want them!

Wait wtf... so I shouldnt take my animal pak with my last meal before my workout, its about 2 hours before my workout. Animal pak has arganine in it.. :(

Now how is this not muscle not growing?? No disrespect to Dan Mirage but I mean he posts one thing and everyone jumps on his d*ck and believes it with no further information. I dont mean to be rude but I had to get it off my chest.

No one said you wouldn't get a pump,or that your muscle is not growing(BTW A"Pump" has nothing to do with "growing" your muscle,it's simply lactic acid buildup,being forced into the muscle.)Oh yeah,Muscle does not grow during exercise but during recovery.

Dan Mirage is a legend here and you'd do well to read anything and everything he's posted lately!
He knows his SH!T!  He works in the industry, and will forget more about sports nutrition,supplementation and bodybuilding than you and I will ever learn!

Take advantage of the opportunity to pick his brain when given a chance...instead of ridiculing and second guessing his knowledge!

would it be ok to take it b4 work out and after workout before bedtime also? 1 scoop each before and after wokout 2-3 hours before bed on empty stomach.
