The gym where I train in boxing. I've been out of it since this semester started cause of too much work, tho. I hope when I go back this summer that they will have the BJJ class set up that they were trying to get.

I went in today without any strategy. Ran 2 miles in PE before lifting. Everything today was very light. Parallel Squat 2 warmups 2X15X135 Flat Bench 1 warmup 2X15X115 This was tougher than I thought. Had to deload for a second after 12th rep on second set. Military Press 1X12X65 1X12X45 My triceps were absolutely dead from bench Lat Pulldown 2X15X70 Ridiculously easy. Very long range of motion. I did notice an extra pump in my lats when bringing the bar down to around nipple level. Cable Rows 2X15X70 Slow reps, straight back, perfect form. Although not difficult, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. I need to plan out what I'm actually gonna do next time I go lift. I wanna do HST, but that means I gotta do lat pulldowns for the next 5 weeks, which I don't wanna do (cause I like pullups). I didn't finish testing my maxes, so I guess I will do that on Thursday in PE, and then begin HST next week.

PE workout Flat Bench 1X10X95 1X10X135 1X7X155 1X1X185 Couldn't swallow my pride, cause I was lifting with a guy that did 205 twice, so I wanted to lift 185 as to not look like a pansy. It wasn't too tough. On a better day I might coulda gotten 205. Deadlift 1X8X135 1X8X185 1X8X205 1X7X205 Finally learning how to lift more with my legs. I'm gonna start ramping this weight again. Military DB Press 2X10X30s 1X7X30s Pullups 2X6XBW 1X3XBW <-- failure Bent Over Rows 3X10X75 30 minutes HIIT on upright bike My lifts dropped substantially from the week off. I wasn't expecting such a drop, but I'm sure within a week they will be back up.

After about a 2.5 week hiatus, stemming from relapse into an old habit, I have recovered and am back in the gym. I have decided to follow Rippetoe's workout, because it is simple and down to the point. I am done cutting atm, having reached about 186-187 lbs. I dropped down to 182, but the remaining weight was without a doubt muscle loss, as I wasn't eating right during the break either. Today's workout: Parallel Squat 3X5X175 --> I can't believe I struggled with this! It was embarassing. Flat Bench 1X5X155 --> Started too heavy 2X5X145 Deadlift 1X5X185 Dips 2X8XBW I am strictly following the plan posted here until I can pick up a copy of the book, which I can hopefully do today.
