I'm not sure at the moment.. about 4 or so weeks ago I did 405lbs on flat bench 5X's.. and I doubt it 's went up any at all.. My squat was very strong until I realized I wasn't squatting.. I've been going ATG for about 5 months of so and when I started my numbers dropped about 100lbs.. but it's slowly building back up.. Still having issues with my deadlift due to week hands.. and I really don't want to revert to straps or hooks.. I've been doing a few things here and there to strengthen my grip.. I've got a back shot I was wanting to post but have had difficulty getting it to load properly.. I get a file size error but it's very small.. about 45k.. I'll probably end up getting my daughter to load it for me:)

1/23/2008 Week 4 Workout 13 Deads w/shrug Warmup 1X10X225 2X10X415 Incline Bench Warmup 1X10X135 2X10X245 Superset:Cable Side Raises with Bent Over Lateral Raises, adding 20 lbs each set. 30 seconds rest.. 1X20X40lbs..........10 Each 1X14X60lbs...........7 Each 1X10X80lbs............5 Each BB Rows 1X10x135 2X10X200 Well it's Thursday morning around 10:30A and my traps and delts feel as if they have never been worked. I did a double shrug on the deads but i think the problem was with the cable work... No pain when doing them but today both sides feel as if a nerve is pinched? I guess we'll leave those out next time..

Do you change your routine every week every workout or so? I have some questions that I am going to send via PM.

I keep it farily consistent, and do try to chance up the exercises from workout to workout.. One day Flat bench the next Incline, On presses one day I'll do DB's the next BB.. But all in all, I try to stick with basic compound exercises and on each working Day I'll hit a different muscle with an isolations, Tri's, Calfs, Delts.. etc.. very basic, nothing fancy. quote:

Smoundzou just wanted to say you are incredibly strong. Has your strength consistently increased throughout the years of lifting? Did you ever hit any big plateaus?

Thank you.. Oh yes.. I've hit major plateaus and I'm currently hitting one right now.. I was out of the gym for over a year due to a shoulder impingement and have only been back training since this past April.. when I came back in some of my lifts were down 200plus pounds.. due to severe atrophy on my left side.. primarily shoulder and tri.. but even before that It's been a constant issue hitting plateaus since my late 20's... I try to utilizing available training tools such as negatives, bands, chains and I recently purchased a set of micro plates that have really helped out.. before that I would go to the hardware store and have custom chain cut and link it myself so it would fit over the end of the bar.. usually try to get it as close to 1lbs as possible.. but as crazy as it seems.. 1lbs on each end can make a huge difference..

1/25/2008 Week 4 Workout 14 Squats: 1X10X135 370lbs 1X10 1X8 1X2 Flat Bench Warmup 1X10X135 325lbs 1X10 1X7 1X3 Flat DB Flyes Warmup 10X40 1X10X60 1X10X70 1X5X75 Seated OH Press: SM 1X10x140 225lbs 1X10 1X8 1X4 Superset with Side DB laterals 1X10X40 2X10X55 BB Rows 1X10x135 2X10X225 Superset with Pullups-wide grip pronated 1X10XBW 1X10X25lbs 1X5X70lbs 1x3X70lbs 1X2x70lbs RippedChic....Thanks and the bug is gone... I did it to mess wtih my wife..... it took her a minute before she realized it wasn't real.. LOL... She actually thought it was under the screen on my laptop.. OK, I think I started out with too much weight.. I planned on doing 4 weeks of 2-3 sets of 10 reps and i'm starting to stall on most of the lifts so I'm having to cluster in order to finish... I think I'll probably cut the 10 cycle short and move on to the 5 rep cycle.....

damn, lifts looking good! Jeesh I need to catch up lol just playing, Maybe in like 3 more years... But even then.. I don't think I will be catching up, it actually looks like your getting stronger fairly quickly.

I know over the past 12 weeks or so I've put 10lbs or so on each on my lifts but in reality, it's my left side catching up. I seriously doubt I'll have much more natural strength gains.. but like I mentioned before.. If I can just get mylifts up to where they were about 2-3 years ago I'll be happy.. I'm assuming that will be when I reach about 215lbs bodyweight.. That's another area I'm starting to stall.. quote:

Yea, the reason for the 10/7/3 was simply due to not being able to complete the lift.. so I just deloaded, rest and finish out the remaining sets.. I actually started out this cycle wih too much weight.. and I'm probably going to just end the cycle and start 5's next week.. it's actually to the point where I think it's having more of a negative effect as to a positive one..

I have a few pics posted on several boards that were taken back in June.. I'm thinking my weight was somewhere close to 192-195lbs at around 11% BF... but I'm telling ya, they're not as impressive as I feel everyone is expecting.. I"m only 5'11 approx 205lbs.. quote:

Oh yea.. They're great.. I use to do them almost every workout but lately I've been sticking with plain old OH presses... I know I've mentioned having an RC issue with my right shoulder and when it really starts acting up, I always switch to the Arnold Presses.. for some reason, I can go lower with the weight without even irritating the RC..I'm guessing it's due to the weight being more in front of your body instead of your arms being out to the side as it is with a traditional overhead press.. quote:
ORIGINAL: IBendBarbells Man bro you ever tried arnold press's, I just started them this week.. They are so hard!! Just wondering what your opinion is of them.
