Well I have to do legs and shoulders but I am going to wait until tomorrow. I think I am going to see if my trainer wants to try an upper body lower body split, More like this though. Day1: Chest and Tri Day2: Legs / squats Day3: Off Day4: Back and Bi Day5: Legs / Deadlifts / Shoulders day 6: Off Day7: Start over again. Anyways I am going to start that one in say 2 - 3 more weeks.

Well umm uhh... changed up the shoulder work out a bit.. Military press on a smith front laterals side laterals rear laterals cable cross overs Today got to hit the legs.. That should be interesting. chest back legs shoulders bi tri Seems to be the new split... still seems like overtraining but what ever I will continue the trainers routine, the first one worked quickly but I couldn't recover fast enough resulting in injury.

Yesterday: Got some tips from a really cool guy in the gym.. Man he made my buddy who is training me look small... We tried to do things his way but we both got sick and our legs gave out. Leg Press: 180 x 50 270 x 40 360 x 30 450 x 20 540 x 10 The parts in red I couldn't get to!!! My legs were burning so badly!! I could barely stand up also, it was really hard to walk and I felt like I was going to throw up. I did calve raises for 2 sets of 20 and then I left.

Arms: Yesterday EZ bar curls: 80lbs x 10 90lbs x 10 100lbs x 10 Cable curls: 50lbs x 30 70lbs x 20 130lbs X 10 Curls from stomach to chest to regular form elbows foward. 40lbs 2 x 10 40lbs 2 x 10 40lbs 2 x 10 Skull crushers from behind head to forehead. 90 x 10 into 10 close grip press 100 x 8 into 8 close grip press 110 x 4 into 4 close grip press Tricep press downs: 100 x 10 130 x 10 140 x 10

Just got a raise at work... Little do they know I have contacts with HR and know I am going to get laid off anyways.. What a bunch of basterds errr!!

Holy cow now on top of the raise I actually know my lay off date is on Monday.. Not just that but I already got calls back for interviews and am being considered for different positions and credit unions and banks.. wohoo!! Thank god the job market is good right now.. I need to at least make 36,000 - 40,000 a year right now though.. So I may be looking for a while. Next year it's all about school from 25 - 30 I will be in school, I will start taking a few courses this summer. Might have to work on getting certified for being a PT.. I have a month right now to do that. That should be fairly easy then this summer I will knock out some extra courses in college to get a little more qualified ahead of the game. I need to research the field for PT's though and see if they have evening / weekend shifts.

thats kinda crappy they give you a raise and then are going to lay you off wtf?? but its cool you got interviews lined up. your traing is looking good as well

Hell, Bend. Evening's are the prime time for PT's around here. That's when most people are free to work out. I went through ACSM and I would recommend them or NSCA. NCSA is probably more up your alley w/ all the free weight training. The thing is, don't count on preparing for the test in one month. With my background, (I've been in Group Fitness and training for 15 years) I took 4 months to prepare! The tests are TOUGH and even a friend of mine w/ a college degree sweated out the test for NSCA. Go for it..... I'm still waiting for a job here....I want a daytime spot and I'm not holding out much hope.

Well my bench is down.. only be 1 rep.. But still.. Not really a big deal though I have been doing dumbells for a while now. On another note I might start doing my tricep press downs on the lat pull machine.. The cable machine just doesn't go high enough in weight. I have to stack 10lb plates on + those rubber things on top and it's still not enough only got it to 180lbs.

Don't worry...when you get older like me, your metabolism will catch up. Then you'll be saying things like, "F***ing slow metabolism!! I just looked at the cookie! I didn't eat it!! WTF!" Sorry to hear about the job....I've been looking for a year and can't find one in my field to save my life. At least a place I'd like to work.... Good luck on the second interviews.

Well I have been carb loading.. Geesh.. Hopefully I will see 2 1/2 or 3 lbs by next monday. **** if I could even though it would be fat I would like to gain 5 a week lol.

just curious. you're following your trainers routine right? isn't your training your buddy who you know takes anabolics? wouldn't it be safe to say that you obviously aren't going to recover as fast as he is and could not do the same routine?
