Remember, 3500 kcals = 1 lb. Assuming you ate 7000 calories of food, then yes, it is possible. 7000 calories in junk food isn't all that much especially if you pig out. However it could be water gain too. Weight fluctuates pretty easily + or - 1 lb, so I doubt you gained a true 2 lbs.

I guess what I mainly don't get is I used to eat like that almost every day and I pretty much maintained the same weight I only gained probably a couple pounds a month and now one meal seems to almost kill everything i'm working for it just really sux.

3500 calories =1lbs? err...wtf? 100 grams pasta=350 calories therefore 1000 grams pasta=3500 calories 1000 grams=1kg, 1kg=2.2lbs It depends totally on what you eat.

i actually didnt get frustrated its just how i was, it was so stupid. i decided to stop that my freshman year in HS. i looked and saw i had alittle more of a gut (on the side) and i was like "wtf" so i decided to go on body-for-life. i didnt get good results though until about last feb. cause thats when i started bulking. i was an idiot for cutting first when i was already at 10.5%bf and seriously under weight

"" I see what you thought, its valid but let me explain. Like the other people said, 3500 kcal = 1 lb. of weight in fat/muscle gained by your body. This does not mean physical weight added in your body. If you eat a whole 16 oz of chicken, thats around 800 kcals, but its physical weight is 1 lb. At that moment your body has gained 1 lb, but only 800kcal are kept, the rest is excreted.

Kingyoto, maybe you've listed your height and weight in another post and i missed it but to hear youtalk about yourself.. I though you were like seriously obese?? After seeing your pic, I was a little shocked.. Although you certainly need to rid yourself of some fat, you have a good foundation to start with.. If it were me.. I would stop worrying so much about losing weight and just bust my a** in the gym and before you know it, you'll put on some quality muscle and then worry about cutting down.. Although David is probably accurate on your BF% I've never been one to think it's best for beginners to cut down to a low BF before bulking especailly since you're not that over-weight..

I was bigger iv'e lost about 15 lbs. in the past couple months. but now that I started I want to get to my goal weight 160 lbs. I'm trying to get there by the 1st of the year.

I understand kids are cruel.. and often say cruel things.. From the pic you posted you don't appear to be much overweight.. Actually look rather thin.. with maybe a slight bulge around the waist..? I can't imagine anyone thinking you need to cut?? Anyway, I'm way to old to have any understanding of what it's like to be in school these days.. I'm strictly speaking from a weight training perspective regarding building mass. From a weight training perspective, I think you would be much better off and have better results if you continued to eat a normal diet instead of cutting.. Being in the beginning stages of bodybuilding with very little mass and not being obese, I would never recommend for someone your size to cut. My advise would be to bulk eating healthy foods and do cardio 3 X's weekly, 20-30 minutes.. But it's certainly understandable for you to have the goals you have if you're being made fun of. quote:
