To that last question...Because your just startin man, don't worry about it lol. The size of your arms kind of depends on your genetics, but honestly it's how dedicated do you want to be to getting the body you want? Sounds like you have a solid base (any pics?) so if you know what you are doing and stay at it, there are no limits my man. As to knowing what you are doing, you can find pretty much anything you'll need on this site. If you have any questions just ask.

And despite what Linky says, you can get there without Roids, just gonna take a helluva lot of dedication and time.

When he says time, it's gonna be years. But the progress that comes with it, you'll enjoy every step of the way. Well, maybe not every step.

LoL, some people say that they love every minute of lifting, others that they work through the hard work/stuff they don't like because they like the results. Just figure out what works for you and keep at it. Like Pearl said, when I said time I was leaning more towards the years end of the scale than the months. At your size it will probably be atleast 2-3 years with a very solid diet and lifting before you can be looking at 17+ in. arms, but you'll get 'em man, just stick with it.

You don't have to worry about not being able to keep them from getting much bigger if any.

His arms are hell of small I doubt 2 - 3 years I am going to say to get to 16 he is going to take 4 - 5 years and 17+ may take him 6 - 7 years 18 1/2 inches? you better be training for the next 10+ years.

The only people i know with over 18" guns are a.roiders b.my dad, whos got such big bones-he has a severe unnatural advantage, and hes tall, and hes got fat too which accounts for an accumulated 3/4-1" of the size of it c-my 6'8" friend whos got 24.5" pythons, them mothers are HUGE, the dude wears XXXL shirts and his arms stretch the damn arm holes.-but he has over 10" wrists, and hes like 22% bodyfat at 350+lbs (guy keeps getting heavier)muscle wise theyre only 22" probably, maybe even as low as 21", and for someone whos 6'8" with mentally big bones-nothing too impressive. so if you plan on getting some 18.5ers, i suggest you get in contact with the nearest steroid importer-or get ready for 10-15+ years of gruelling hard work, and a boatload of creatine

OK, maybe it's just me but does anyone think it's just a little strange that he picked 18.5? Hmmmm.. why not 19 or 18inch? 18 inch arms are massive on a 6' person. I agree with twisted... for a lean 18inch arm unless you have the genetics of a monster...you're looking at the very least a decade with some special juice one the side.. 16 inch arms on a 6' man are way above the average and you would certainly stand out.. the ave 6' man that dosn't work out and is not obese has on the average 12-13.5inch arms.. Set small short term goals... going from 12.5 to 14 would be incrdible an could be possibly done within 12-18 months with a good diet and proper training...

ORIGINAL: minigunner so after i reach them is there anything i can do to stop them from getting bigger but not getting weaker? i really dont want to be over 20 inches but im not even sue if thats possible for me yer you better be careful man, you wouldnt wanna accidently do 1 extra rep and wake up with 20'' arms, that'd be hell. trust me, isyou ever get to 18.5'' arms it will be hard as anything to get to even 18 5/8'' arms. but like the fellas said, it will take alot of time and even then it sonly if your genetics permit for such size on your body. p.s im only 16 and ive got 18'' arms, and im only 5'10 but ive got near perfect genetics in my point of veiw, my dad and all my uncles are built and they dont workout at all other than farm work.

From the avatar your developement looks similar to that of a man in his mid 20's..who has trained consistently.. Being only 16 you're genetics must be off the wall.. Impressive... quote:
