Beyond All science.. Beyond my beliefs - Monday, September 10, 2007 11:58 AM
Well I am recovering still.. Feeling much better though! getting my strength back!

Anyways I am going to try something new! Something fun! Now Bench press still is a lift that has not increased much for me in the last year. I have steady increases but nothing significant.

So this week for the next 6 weeks I will be trying something new.. I am going to flat bench 3 days a week. Heavy light Heavy. On my light days I will work with 205lbs and I won't go for a certain number of reps I just will go until I can't anymore.

I am going to start today it does sound like fun.. I mean I have watched so many people progress doing that.. You can't do your whole chest routine though, only flat bench. So basically still have your chest day but your trying to just increase your one compound lift.

Flat Bench:

135 x 15
225 x 5
235 x 5
250 x 3   <--- ouch!!! O well I knew I had lost a little strength.

There was a problem with today.. I was totally worn after just this work out and by the third movement of my work out I was only doing 10lbs more then my Girlfriend..  So umm I am going to say work chest 2 times per week.. Ill incorp the chest into its own day and also into a shoulder day.. Only flat bench into the shoulder day  though.

Flat Bench:

135 x 10
225 x 5
235 x 5
250 x 5

Hmmm Okay so now I am back to where I was..  That happend fast..  I guess I am going to see how fast this works if it does work.. So far it has brought my strength back up to what it was just after my cycle.   I hope that next week it increases as fast as it did this week.. I doubt it will but if it does I would love to see 250lbs x 7 reps..

Injured my self last week doing leg press.. Did squats today and messed my self up even more.. Just below my knee cap I can't seem to push anything.. its hard for me to get out of my car or up from a chair..  My knee is in alot of pain.. I wont be doing any pushing movements with my legs for a month or two and I will start back into it again light like 225 - 255 range for squats.   Work it back up to 295 for reps.   No more leg press I can't seem to do it without getting injured or almost ****ting my self.   Ill just stick to squats I can keep increasing weight easier on squats.

Anyways during my PH cycle I am going to add in cardio..  Yeah I know sounds odd..  I am actually not looking to gain size.. I decided I am not lean enough in the 200 lbs area.  I want to be around 7% BF..   So I am actually going to be on a clean bulk diet with alot of bicycling and running.   looking to hit 208 or so but be alot leaner.

Flat bench I will be doing tuesday on my arms day.  Looking to press 250 for possibly 6 reps..   At the end of the week I would like to be doing 255lbs for 5 reps.

I don't think its as much as I could do before but my strength is going back up there.. I don't see my self hitting 315 right now probably only 295 - 305. Lost a bit of strength after my last cycle.

You know what is irritating is my scale weight has not dropped to 198lbs I am getting stronger my stomach is flatter but those abs don't show through like I want. I am going to try to stay around 198 - 200lbs while on tren and epi.. scale weight does not matter to me anymore as long as I am close to 200lbs and ripped.

So I am just about in my target range... I mean as far as mass goes.. hopefully I can clean bulk it on up to 205 again... maybe 208 or so... Then Cut some more weight down to 200.. By the end of this cycle and a cut so Id say in 8 weeks I want to be 195 - 200lbs but 6% BF

Right now I would say i am around 9% BF
