100 pushups has nothing to do with moving up in rank, its passing your PT test that has to do with rank, pushups are part of the test but there is no "100" pushups will put you right up in rank.

The Marines think they are so tough.... but really, they are just a Department of the Navy. And we all know what the Navy means. Haha, just playing. I was in the Army four years. You really get out of their morning fitness routines what you put into it. There are plenty of people who don't give any effort and go to the doctor to make sure they don't have to run by complaining about shin splints or whatever. Good luck with your time... you'll probably regret it at some point but you'll make make so many friends to laugh about half the **** with... then it flies by and when you get out the whole world is open to you so hang in there.
