i'm pesimistik about everything

so for 5'11 165 pounds 1 month till 15 is 255 pound bench max 1 rep good or bad (this was for football so i didn't have any pre's in me)

You have to remember this is the internet and much of what you read here is exagerated. The 100% rawpowerlifting WW for 165lbs at 15 is 230 so you have a great max.

Not to jack thread but Jeff you seem to be a pretty good judge. At 6'2 - 140 is 185 a decent bench? And 275 on deadlift?

Sorry I am not Jeff though lol

Thats pretty thin..  Id say thats a pretty good bench at that size.   The deadlift is really good for your size.

140 is thin for 6'2'' but if you have made improvements since you started trasinning I would not worry about your stats right now. As for your lifts they sound good. I would say 99% of people cant dead lift 2x their body weight so you are ahead of most people right now.

Yeah I'm small I know lol, I really got buckle down on the diet. I eat a lot, just not the right stuff. And I get stronger, just not bigger. Smile

Write down everything you eat today in your diet.  You would be suprised what alot of food is Smile especially at your height Smile

Well, I'm 5'9.5" 185 lbs 6% bf 19 yrs oldand I failed to bench 250 lbs, so yeah, if you really did bench that, then that is impressive.

LoL, well let me rephrase that...

I've always got tons of stuff to get done, I'm a pretty busy guy and so I always have trouble being consistent. LIke...I'll get in a decent breakfast, say 400-500 cals + protein shake but then I'll get s acught up doing somethin that before I know it it is 2pm and I haven't ate since then. So then my stomach kinda hits me and I realize I'm starving so I'll go throw down around 1,000 cals. and Then I'll get another 1,000+ over the rest of the night so I really only end up getting around 2750-3k. Awhile back I was really strict and ate just over 5k for a week and gained like...I think it was 1 or 1.5 solid pounds. But that was just a helluva a lot of food, it's hard gettin that much down between classes. I'm tryin though, this year my schedule is a lot easier so I should be able to handle it.

Even if you feel like you have to throw up... Drink water relax try to keep it down.  Eventually your going to get hungry at those times of day.

cheese sticks may not be the best suggestions but your in school I can't think of anything else to replace that with.. They have alot of cholesterol.


Anyways then when you get home shovel down some cottage cheese and fruit.. have a protein shake with it.   Carry a lunch box with you to school around everywhere pack that baby up every morning!   Eat everything in your parents fridge when they ask you about why you are eating soo much tell them you are starving you must be having some kind of growth spurt.  "which would not be suprising" I am assuming you are young thats why I said all of that. 




As for the kid in this thread thats a freaking great max bench!

Yeah last year I would put down pb&J's between class so I know I can get that down. I'll get me some Nuts and I can get those lil' bowls of mixed fruits 2.  When I get everything set up I'll post it up in my journal...I'ma have ya'll hold me accountable for gettin in enough food.

no way. ur saying the 15yr old lifting record of all is 230 pounds for 165lb. person. and this guy is saying he's 14 and his is 255lb.??? unless we have pretty much the strongest 14yr. old in the country on here thats not right.

i had on the bar 45x2 35x2 25x2=255

so believe me or not that's what i pressesd i have no reason to ly on here i'd shoot a vid. but no camera if anyone is from northern wisconsin and wants to see just let me know and we can meet up once i buy a membership after the season ends

35 x 2 = 70
25 x 2 = 50

90 + 70 + 50 = 210

Now unless im wrong somehow, it equals 210.
Unless you used a 45lb bar.

No reason to lie on forums, but a LOT of ppl do.  I think there was a post not too long ago about proving lifts.  Like if you younger than 16 and benching over 200, a video was needed or everyone would agree to not believe it... something like that.  I post videos all the time on here, but all they do for me is show how weak I am. haha.

The reason it's hard to believe is your age and your height/weight.  You're tall and skinny and 14 and can bench more than a lot of 17/18/19 year olds that have been training for a while... you can see why thats hard to believe.

how i know 15 year olds that are like 150 lb. that bench 225 that isnt close to a record are you sure the wr for benching is 230 for 165 lb. division?im suprised it isnt like 400...
