ok...who thinks we need this - Tuesday, July 31, 2007 3:49 PM
The amount of wrong information on this site in regards to prohormones/designer steroids is growing at an alarming rate.

If I were to make an all inclusive guide, would anyone here even be interested in what the proper way to take these things is, or would it fall upon deaf ears?

I don't speak for the man, but I'm pretty sure Marc doesn't want to facilitate that.  Even if it is to clear up the ign'rance.

There are plenty of sites on the net that will train people how to use gear if they want to read it.  elitefitness.com comes to mind.

well thatd be fine...

however why do we tolerate all the NONSENSE prohormone/designer steroid posts on here?

this site needs to make up its mind...it's either against all ph/ds talk, or it isnt.

by allowing these 15 year olds to talk about this stuff on here they are getting HORRIBLE information and are actually worse off then before they came to the site.

You should make a sticky in this section. Kind of like the superdrol for dummies thread on bb.com.

I think this would be beneficial because then people wouldn't have to discuss phs all the time, someone would just say "here take a look at this thread" and that'd be the end of it.

I asked Marc about having a anabolic section and he does not want that here.

I agree that the kids still post about it and the information I read is disturbing and almost always wrong. It would be better to have a no steroid/PH rule and then close all threads related to it, or just make  seperate section for it and have it moderated by someone who knows what they are talking about.

I just read the other day a thread posted by a 16 year kid and his  testosterone cycle.....16!!! and the kid does not even train his legs. Reading this kind of stuff is just sad.

If you can bench press more than you can squat you should be ashamed.

I am with you VT on the amount of misinformation.  I have said it time and time again here.  The vast majority of board members have no reason to use them and even a smaller amount (could count them one  hand actually) should be posting responses.  It is getting very frustrating and my preference would be to really limit the threads on prosteroids-so many other boards already have this stuff if someone truly wants to research it

It goes to far both ways I think. Yeah you need a PCT with a pro Hormone/Steroid/ProSteroid or whatever.. I hear about the proper PCT and the OTC PCT that many claim isn't good enough. I took the OTC PCT, and I guess I am lucky because I do not have Gyno. Hopefully I don't get delayed Gyno, been off the S Drol for 4 weeks and no Gyno yet. I hate hearing People say " Happy ****tits" Gyno isn't 100% for sure going to happen. I understand you guys just want to help out and be for sure with the proper PCT.

In the short time ive been here, every thread about pHS ive seen on here, one of the regulars post up a knowledgable response in a short amount of time. Most threads also seem to start with a question and then be bombarded with warnings by almost all who post. I think its better for a 15yo to see that then to just buy the stuff online and read the bottle. A sticky like 'warning about the use of pro-hormone supplements' would be a good idea too though.

I'm very intrested in that, and would definantly read it.

We can't really just delete all threads concerning PH's because if some 15 year old wants to know about them, they most likely have the attention span of the Milaisian Chimpanzee and if their thread is deleted they'll just believe what's on the label and get it.

At least if we had a guide or something, then we could link that, and it would have all the dangers in there, so the 15 year old could make an informed decision, rather than making a bad decision.

I think that a sticky that covers proper use and PCT of some of the ph's is a great idea.  As new one's come out, information about them could be added as well.

Really and truly I think that the prohormones forum should be reopened since there are legal ph's again...

The problem with going to other sites is that you get flamed if you don't have 400/500 posts, so until then, you won't get a rational answer cuz you have to "earn" your respect before they'll answer you.

I would really like that i know you have a lot of information to share and are one of the most knowledgable people if not the most on this board about ph's

I would love to read because i have been thinking about ph's and  like toolman said no one will shoot you straight on other forum's i've tried

I agree that since there are legal ph's the section should be unlocked again.

Ok, I think some of you guys may have misunderstood the purpose of this.

I really enjoy this site being non hormonal. I REALLY like it. This site taught me ALL the basics...be it nutrition/supplementation/training. I owe EVERYTHING to this board in all honesty.

However, despite the desire of Marc to have this site remain non-hormonal, it just doesn't seem plausible at the moment.

So until Marc/mods are willing to shut down every single post about prohormones/designer steroids, I feel it prudent to at least make a sticky displaying their dangers/proper dosing schedules/proper way to take them/and especially proper PCT(which many of you LOVE to disagree with me on).

I just think this board is in need of a change...these are the options IMO

1. Lock every single prohormone/designer steroid thread

2. Place a sticky(not necessarily written by me, however I would like to help) explaining EVERYTHING that is needed to help users understand the daners/risks of prohormones as well as their positive qualities.

3. Open up the prohormone section and have it moderated extremely close.

I vote for option 1 or 2 personally.
