Muscle Milk Collegeiate is kinda like the Cytogainer, it has high calories and high protein with low fat, except there is no creatine in it. Also the protein is mostly casein protein. I drink it twice a day includin a servin before bed. It has helped me gain weight. And yes it mixes well just like the Cytogainer.

I think it doesnt have creatine because its a casein protein and is generally used as a meal replacement. I take it a couple hours after breakfast as a mid mornin meal, then I take it before bed. I take whey protein b4 and after workouts.

ORIGINAL: aolson so why did they take out that one ingredient from muscle milk to make collegiate? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I heard that they took the ingredient out so that Muscle Milk would be available to use for college athletes. The original form contained some ingredients (creatine, as you said) that aren't allowed in college sports, thus making Cytosport create a new form w.o these ingredients so athletes wouldn't be prohibited from using Muscle Milk. I also think that its called "Collegiate" b/c the supplement pertains mostly to college athletes??

I don't think muscle milk has creatine, and I don't think creatine is not allowed in college sports...

it has the word collegiate in it because it follows NCAA regulations on supplements. Yes, creatine is banned by the NCAA, but that doesn't mean the players don't use it...

Wow, did not know that... Testing for it doesn't really help does it? Cuz it comes in certain types of meats naturally.
