xceed still reputable? - Sunday, May 20, 2007 6:18 AM
after i finish my bottle of cellmass + noXplode, i am going to switch to only xceed, ON 100% whey, and a bulk CM (AST micronoized). i did a lot of research on xceed mainly through these forums and a lot of people said it was real good, but recently i haven't seen any talk about it. would it still be a good replacement for cellmass + noXplode? i even heard its higher on the scale than those 2 products.

my (total) supplementation would be like this:

WORKOUT DAYS
____________________________________________
1 multi-vitamin (a-zinc) in the morning w/ breakfast
1 vitamin c in the morning w/ breakfast
1 fish oil capsule in the morning w/ breakfast
2 tblsp of flax seed (powdered) in the morning w/ breakfast

1 protein shake an 30 min b4 xceed (or w/ xceed, i dunno if i have to take it on an empty stomach like cellmass and noXplode)
1 scoop of xceed 30 min b4 gym
1 protein shake right after gym

1 fish oil capsule with lunch

1 fish oil capsule with dinner
1-2 tblsp of flax seed (powdered) with dinner

1 protein shake b4 sleep
1 scoop of AST micronized CM b4 sleep

NON WORKOUT DAYS
____________________________________________
1 protein shake when i wake up

1 multi-vitamin (a-zinc) in the morning w/ breakfast
1 vitamin c in the morning w/ breakfast
1 fish oil capsule in the morning w/ breakfast
2 tblsp of flax seed (powdered) in the morning w/ breakfast

1 fish oil capsule with lunch

1 fish oil capsule with dinner
1-2 tblsp of flax seed (powdered) with dinner

1 protein shake b4 sleep
1 scoop of AST micronized CM b4 sleep

hows that look? and i have 2 questions: (1) on non-workout days is it better to take creatine when i first wake up or when i go to sleep (like i would be taking it in my process now) and (2) do you have to take xceed on an empty stomach?

thanks

I was using xceed about a year ago. I went through 2 tubs of it. It's a decent product, you get good energy and pumps from it. However, I don't suggest using it if you're trying to bulk. I seemed to be more lean and cut after both cycles of xceed. That was just my experience though, yours may be different. If you're going for pure size and mass, try Size On, it certainly has been the best creatine product I've used. Anyway, if you go with xceed, on your non workout days use it about the time you would when you workout. It does have some NO in it, and as the case with any NO product, it's best used on an empty stomach. Get the lemon flavor, it tastes pretty good.

really? leaning? yeah maybe it might be different for me because i read that whole sizeon vs xceed thread and people said it gives as good results in bulking as sizeon. and in another thread i read that it gives much better bulking than cellmass, and from cellmass i have gotten some pretty decent bulking. but thats cem3, and i've never used cee or cm, so we'll see.

and i really dont want to take xceed on non-training days because i think the only thing i will gain from that is the cee, everything else is boosting energy and such, and i really dont need that on non-training days. so should i take the CM at the same time i would take xceed on non-training days?

Not sure about the title of the thread.  It is still the same exact formula and product that you read all the positive feedback about so of course it is reputable............As for which is better Sixe On or Xceed.  I have used them both and the seem quite similar in terms of efficiency so it might just be a matter of which one you find at a lower price point

to be honest, the reason why i chose xceed over sizeon is because i just came from an item that uses tons of unknown mixes (cellmass and noXplode) and sizeon is just like that in terms of unknown portion sizes of different substances mixed in, but xceed is pretty strait forward, and it also includes no-initiating substances, which sizeon lacks (and i would have to get superpumps250 to get those no-effects w/ sizeon)

and why are you not sure about the title of the thread? has there been any reportings on the reputation of xceed that would make me move towards getting sizeon instead? lol

No threads that I have seen.  You're correct, with Xceed what you see is what you get.  There are no hidden blends as is the case with many other creatine products.  And of course DS appreciates your business.

Hey MR;

I've been taking Xceed for a while now and enjoying it. I w/o in the early AM and take 1 serving of Xceed 45 minutes before my w/o along with 3-4 caps of White Blood (that's just me). I also prepare a serving of DS-Replenish that I sip on during my workout between sets and finish the rest immediately after my workout.

On non-w/o days I'll take another serving of Replenish. Of course there are other supps that I take like ON-whey, multi's, BCAA's,antioxidants, etc.

yea.. i e-mailed designersupplements asking about if i should take it before and after workout.. they told me to do it. So yes, you can take it before and after your workout to support the creatine supplementation without getting a standalone creatien product

does anyone know if taking xceed on a not-so-empty stomach hinders ANY of its effects during workout? because i want to take xceed AND my protein shake at the same time 30 min b4 workout (in different cups of course lol) thanks

also does anyone know if i can put the tub in a ziplock airtight bag and put it in the refrigerator? im asking this because i live in a very humid and warm house and i've read many posts where peoples tubs have turned into bricks and thats the last thing i want to end up with! lol thanks

Taking Xceed with your protein shake will slightly hinder the N.O. effects, but nothing too extreme.  As for putting it in the fridge, yeah, should be fine.

seeing as how it would hinder the N.O. effects slightly, is it more beneficial to take my protein shake 1 hour b4 i take xceed to retain all N.O. effects? because i've heard for muscle growth its important to take protein right before going to the gym, and i think in 1 hour all they whey would be absorbed, whereas if i drink it with xceed it would still be in my blood and when my BP increases it will be carried throughout the body faster and act more potently.

any thoughts on that?

An option would be to take the Xceed 45 mins pre-workout, then your shake 20 mins later.
