I know this is about 5 months old but i feel i should post some of my 2 cents. You dont realy need weights to get more muscle, but weights do help. you can use your body weight to work out, like push ups, pullups/chin ups, dips, squats with no weights etc... I also found this. Its called "combat conditioning" its just some stuff like handstand pushups, backbridge, squats etc with out weights. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mahler19.htm There are 3 different variations of the push ups you can do normaly that work your body differently, put your hands together and it works your tris most, shoulder lenght its all kinda equal, and wide works your chest more etc.. Weights do help, but they arent the only way to get some muscle. Like this guy said, he is just looking to add some muscle, not to get buff and huge or good huge strength gains. just my 2 cents :x

Altogether, beginning anything worth while is worth doing the research. Take the Badger for example. He attacks at will, often unprovoked. He studies his enemies. He thinks about you while he is awake and dreams about attacking you while asleep. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hereford/worcs/3023369.stm.
