I have a journal in the online journal section called 'Fitness Figure 2007 Contest Prep ~ Sneak Peek' section which had diet, training and my NO Limits reports as I feel it all goes hand in hand but decided to do one here too, just for the NO Limits reports.
NO LIMITS REPORT APRIL 16, 07
I took the 6 caps of No Limits 30-45 mins before this workout, but I think the workout was not intense enough to feel the effect so I did not really notice anything this session.  The good news, I did not break out or get a flush which is possible with me when trying new supplements so it is a good sign!!!
I also note I am not super sore, just a bit on quads and low back so I don't know if the NO Limits helps with recovery or if that is my glutamine of which I take 5-20gm per day.

NO LIMITS REPORT APRIL 19, 07
I did not use it yesterday as I only did 15 mins HIIT on my recumbent bike but I started my HST workout plan today and although the first few sessions on this program are lighter and easier and single sets for the first 2 weeks, with a warm up set for body parts, I did feel a pump this time!
I am doing really good form and full ROM for this program - not sure I will hit my extimated maxs but I  noticed that it pushed my lactic acid so it was delayed and that was good!
This should help me get to my maxs or close to because the 'burn' is delayed and lightened.
I also noticed as I got the pump my face did get slightly flushed so the blood is certainly being pushed to the surface more than it normally would.  I don't normally get any flush unless I do a long cardio session non stop.
As stated above, my diet and program are detailed in my journal located in the 'online journals' section.
Lets see how recovery is affected, if it is at all.Smile
Linda

Well I didn't, I think the NO Limits did, it pushed it later than I normally get hit with it, kinda like creatine does!  Also I found today on my one hour brisk walk, which I do daily everyday with the dogs, some are hikes with hills but today it was on the street, not trails, anyway I noted that I still had the 'pump' look!
I just did my PM workout and also noted the pump, not huge or much diff from the AM but as my training progesses past these few easy sessions I think the pump at workout will be more prevalent.
I do note that I look fuller and harder which rocks!

April 19.07 NO Limits report
Did my HST AM and PM plan, felt good with slight pump this time from NO Limits use, my second use.
I also felt a pump in the afternoon when walking the dogs, was still feeling like muscles looked nice and full!!
Second day use (did not use the day before but did on Monday).
I found the pump this time, near end of set, and felt it last through the day.  I also think the NO limits helped push lactic acid back so I could lift harder/longer...however you want to put it.

Friday April 20th to Sat April 21st
was off training - was supposed to do 30 mins gymnastics on Saturday but did it on Sunday instead.

Sunday April 22, 07
Diet is as I please but did workout AM and PM on schedule and ended up doing my gymnastics today, 30 mins.  Forgot to take my NO limits today as I slack off on my supps on weekends.

Tuesday April 24th, 07
Kickbox for 15 mins after weights with no gloves and mild kicks with punch, jab, backand and spinning high round, progressing along so far so good.  Been a few years!
I felt like things were eased or lite because of the No Limits I am testing which I only take so far on days I train.  I felt the pump today big time and fast.  I felt lite myself although I am off season and not lean really and do feel sturdywhile training with NO Limits.  I am also able to super set and weights are rising and things are getting heavier yet I cannot tell as bad as if maybe I was not on the NO Limits.  I even rest less!  I am getting through the workout faster and as I said, its progressing to heavier  (on hst type program, see my journal).

See Online Journal section for full training and diet details.
So far only taking the NO Limits on days I do training.
Hope I am not supposed to take it daily.........

Thursday April 26th, 07

Felt that pump again from the No Limits and did weights as per plan, been doing AM and PM workouts as planned.
I did a couple warm up sets last session with a bit more weight than on plan but otherwise it is all as set out.  Usually I take the NO Limits pre AM workout but there was a day I had to take it for my night workout, maybe Tuesday or Sunday....cannot recall........I think Sunday I forgot to take it but anyway, the details are above in previous posts - my point is one day I took it in the PM, worked well then too!  Seems it took me a few loading days before I felt it, and I thought it was the light workout of the first sessions but that was not the case from what I can tell now by just getting a pump on warm up set before I even use any weight or get into my mid sets, it took me a load of 2-3 sessions.

Sunday forgot to take it, again I just don't usually take them weekends when weekends are free but did notice dragging a bit because of it, also due to PMS I am sure but I did notice and think there was also a lack from not taking the NO Limits.
I only did 20 mins instead of 30 for gymnastics which I did Sunday instead of Fri or Sat and ended up off those days.  Sore and pmsy.
I skipped my pm workout that day too!
Tuesda is PRD so I cannot forget it and I am still sore so am going to keep today off and do kickboxing tomorrow after my am workout.

Tuesday May 1.07
Training
Did my PRD today, went well, some lifts had slight cheats or were not quite full.
The NO limits gives me a bit of a boost to get through training.

Wednesday May 2.07
Diet
VEnti coffee, not feeling well today again, not going to plug figs into food section, no point, not going to get my cals today even if I can eat.

Training off Til Monday - my body is out of whack with PMS causing my asthma and allergies to go overboard plus pains.

Thursday May 3.07
Diet
Asthma and allegies bad, almost went to ER tonight, been having only liquids, coffees, teas, mostly decaf, soups.

Friday May 4.07
Diet
Still not feeling well, more liquids, teas, toast but mostly liquids.  Taking training off til Monday, my back is too sore, not sure if this is reminent from car accidentin 2000 or pms or both.  CAnnot breath well lately and eves are tough, almost so bad I contemplate going into ER for oxygen.

Saturday May 5.07
no notes, too sick.

Sunday May 6.07
Last night again, had a bad attack of asthma.  Hope I will be better by Monday.  been off training and cardio, just some walks.  Had some fruit salad, bread,  coffees teas again.  Lower back not as sore, neck either but still tweaking.  I should get an adjustment at the chiro when i have time.

Monday May 7.07
Training
Started my HST Week 3 today, took NO Limits and it really pushed me through my training.
Still was about an hour so that was good.  Will do HIIT for 20 mins at home on my recumbent bike tonight before my PM weights.

So as seen above, non taken on the days off, only 2 training days in the above group.
Detail is in my online journal at that section of this forum, called Fitness Figure 2007.

I do feel the boost from this supplement, hopefully as I am back on track this week I can really feel its potential.  I am going to try for 20 mins on my HIIT bike work and kickbox and expect the NO Limits to really help me through.  I am on my HST reps of 10, gonig into week 3 and 4 now.  Weights are starting heavier on the easy sessions 1 and 2, today was session 1.

I would like to try a longer mod cardio session on this stuff!!  I have a tape to do for a biceps site and will use this to get the pump feel and look since that is what the site really targets, hopefully in the next week or 2.  I am also going to try to get my first part of my off to pre season BB.com taping done.  Will report back.
So far no ill side effects from NO Limits.
Linda

As per my Online Journal:

*&$%R$#@+*&*!!!!
I had a family emergency last week, then my laptop died on Saturday......although it did its job 10fold.......still..........see above graphic for my sentiments!

Anyway, unable to log diet, diet was sketchy on some days when things were fast paced.  Diet was good on same days, low cal for a few days and low protein other days, then no pc to log onto also.

I have missed a few days training but pretty much kept up my AM workouts although last week I trained only 2 days, not the PM ones, no cardio.
Daily walks have been sketchy so the dogs too have had creative or minimal exercise, minimal ball play etc, not daily hour walks or ball chasing like usual.

I took the No Limits for my last session and a session last week but did one session without and did not train consistently because of the 'drama'.  It seems to never end for me and then when I have to write it down it sounds like someone could be writing a fictional when its actually reality.  There was also some legal and financial items to deal with so between that and slowly moving from a suite to another, 2 floors up......I have had a hard time keeping up.

We have a house but we have been renoing the top floor, my mom is on the main and she is elderly so we help her out and care for the house etc, take her to DRs.....anyway, I was in the basement for years in a room, other suites rented (mom racked up bills after dad died and created a mortgage on the house which was fully paid years before) and when we finally got the tenants out of the top floor so we started work on it but this is a hundred year old house which has had the bare minimum or less down since my dad passed away in 89, and even then he was one man so he only could do so much so he was always working on it.  ITs a beautiful old home and our market is good right now - its worth numbers we never imagined and with Olympics etc coming......anyway, its also my childhood home, a triplex built in the early 1900s, one of the first from the BC Mill here in Vancouver called a triple OOO prefab, lots of history and one of the only left standing although my parents messed with that because they changed it a bit and that takes from its original state....to restore it to heritage would be like building a new home in cost.
Anyway, that is my update I guess.......
SmileI have been getting tons of compliments on my physique, the muscle growth is showing and people notice and they say I look lean but I don't feel lean at all........but then again that could be my anorexic eyes!!

I would like to add that the day I did not take it I felt I was dragging, but I attribute its use to helping me with the great results I have gotten in such a short time, it helps my workout not feel so hardcore.
The day I took it again, I then felt like, 'hey this is not to bad'......being on hst the weights go up every session so that can get tough near your PRD day, or the day you max.
I also notice that the days I take it, I do sweat more and faster when doing other things that day.  Also noticed more energy on the dog walks and hiking.  its like a little secret boost, like creatine but  a bit better, although I am on that too and I take quite a bit, I can afford it since I am not a meat eater.

-Excerpt from my Online Journal....

I got last Monday and this one with a training session, AM only, no cardio the past 2 weeks with non daily walks........been doing reno and slow move.
I am going to revamp things a bit on this program and go for it for 2 more weeks on sets of 10s for 2 sets. I am going to skip the 2 weeks of 5 reps training because that is mainly for strength and I am finding I want a break for max lifting as I had done bulking for a few months with Max ot and other heavy lifts. My upper body responded really well but I want to concentrate on my thighs more.
I also found that some of the exercises got too heavy before PR day so the last 2 days of my 2 weeks with 10 reps would have a few exercises I would have to do same weight as week prior or get a spot and right now a spotter is not available. I am having probs getting someone to tape me for a few projects since my time in the gym is early and is more convenient with less people in there so never mind finding a spotter.
The training this past Monday was only 1 set, and the Monday before I found myself having to cheat on a few exercises or drop a rep. So I maxed early on a few exercises and came close on others. I also found I fell off all bandwagon when the pc died a few wks ago, and working on customizing this new pc to my needs has been a slow go.
Okay so enough, back at it because I got some great results. I am a bit worrried that I did not maximize my past 2 weeks but also know I respond well to rest.
So I am going to refine the HST and make it suit my needs. Add a few more thigh exercises, and maybe make my home training for PM a bit more suitable to my needs which means the exercises won't neccessarily be old school traditional compound as is required with HST.
I am also going to really watch the weight estimates so that I won't need a spotter so I could go heavier but HST is not about heavier for everyone, it can be about form and is about hypertrophy which reps of 10 are a key point, usually I do more sets for hypertrophy but the 1 and 2 sets did the trick as did the prior 2 weeks of 15s. Hypertrophy is not max, its actually more like 75% max, gotta keep reminding that to myself. Although PR day is about max at the reps required but without a spot I will have to go happy medium on that load. I will also continue with the last 2 weeks I had planned, I am just skipping the 2 wks of 5 rep.
I will rework it and post it here. Diet will be 3000 cals per day.
As for my NO Limits use, I have been off all supps for 2 weeks or even 3 so nothing to report.
Diet has been under cals, over fat, under protein and just whatever.......have not logged it.
I will re weigh again tomorrow at the gym, but won't bother with body fat, I have not done anything to lose fat.
I am going to get going with routine creation and keep working to get aerials back and clean. Will see about how cardio is going to be, time type etc.
Have to think of music and theme and I don't use props for this fed, and they like to see strong routines so I will chock it full of strength and skills and add a tad of dance and cute, with lots of stage presence. Outfit and theme need to be simple, routine outfit cannot be too out there for ease of routine and because you are not allowed props so usually they prefer if you come off stage with what you had on when you went out......no clothes removal which is common, tear away pants or whatever.

Linda

So I have had 3 weeks off, unexpectedly.  We are in the mid of renos to a top suite and moving up from a bottom one, in my 3 level home, plus my back was tweaked and still kinda is.  I am trying to do 4 more weeks of hst - which I never did finish, the 2x10 with 1 warm up set, same idea as outlined before but the home PM workout is a lot faster and easier and does use some isos.  so I am skipping the 3x5 weeks of the hst because I have done enough strength work previously with max ot etc in the new year and need to finish with bulk and move into pre season now, more moderate in weights, add some redundant cardio work to lean a tad more and started design of my fitness routine today.

I can tell you clearly and point blank, I WOULD NEVER HAD MADE MY WORK OUT TODAY WITHOUT THE NO LIMITS!!!   This stuff really pushed me through and I felt that my body was in ITS HANDS!!  I was weak, shakey and have been off so I felt very WEAK!!!!  I honestly rode on the back of NO Limits to get this workout done!  THANK GOODNESS I have half a bottle, I did not finish because I fell into a gap of a few weeks of drama where I had to take time off twice throughout this program which was supposed to be 8 weeks, but my body responds so well to time off, so I expect another good last boost of gains between the time off and NO Limits.  I did not take supps when off.

I don't want water so I will be forcing it down.  I want to get a gallon per day but lets see if I can nail 2 liters per day for a week and then I can up it!  After my workout today I just wanted a diet Dr. Pepper so that is what I am having.  I need a carb too and will get on in after I log here.  Last few weeks have been good and bad days of eating, but not enough cals or protein.

If the designer guys are still reading this.............does caffiene strip me of the NO Limits in my system as it does with other nutrients???

Here is the progam I am on for the next 2 weeks.  I had to lighten up the last week a tad on a few exercises because I found the first time I did this I was hitting max a few sessions to early and unable to increase weight with any less than 5 lbs per shot plus I was feeling a pull in my intercostals kinda like a hernia although I have not ever had one........and the back to glute on my left side tweaked a bit from an old rear ender I suffered back in 2000........so I am also doing full proper reps, full rom.  This is actualyl week 4 and 5 now, if we are counting the first few wks of 15's and 10s I already did even with the weeks off in between.

After all this I will then move into a 5 day once per day plan doing a muscle group or so per day, with a quad only day to see if I can coax more sweep from them.  Unfortunatley my outter quad, vastus lateralis is short so it does not show up as bulky as some gals so I need to get that to show up more, also I carry a bit more fat in that area, saddle bags are hiding it too a tad.
Sticking with 3000 cals for 4 more weeks then I may decrease a tad but not much, I usually lean on 2000 easily with cardio so I don't want to go to low.

June 26 Tues - NO Limits works as well for cardio as it did weights.  I am not at my cardio peak so my muscles would feel fatigue but the NO Limits helped me surpass my limit - hmmm no wonder the name - and I felt that I am also incuring less DOMS because of this product.  I have always taken glutamine pre and during this testing and found the NO Limits further increased recovery!
12 mins HIIT on treadmill
12 mins stair master high intensity
12 mins cross trainer level 6 manual with reverse
12 mins on ARC quick start, 10% incl.
6 mins jog on treadmill at 5.5 mph
6 mins on rower moderate pace

June 27 Wed - this was a super fast hit, my diet has been on par some days and lazy others but for this quick workout I did not take the NO LImits because I trained spur of the moment.
red band 2x Circuit

Sumo Squat, Bent Row, Band Pushup, Rear Delt Raise, Standing Tri Ext, Bicep Curl standing, cycle abs bw.

June 28 Thr - This work out sparked fatigue with an after affect of 'second wind' which I attribute to the NO Limits.  This was a week where my health was causing me lower energy so the NO limits helped with avoid that 'dragging ass' feeling.
3x20
Assisted Pullups 80 superset Obls on angle bench with 10lb
Tri PD Rope #4 triset hyperext on angle bench 10lb ts setaed calves 25lb per side
Seated Leg Press #120 ss Side Delt M #3
Pec Dec #4 ts Shrug M #4 ts Bi M #2

June 29 Fri, 30 Sat
Off.

so I have been off the No Limits for almost a month, had some very tight areas.......I went back to training yesterday, after almost a full month off.  I stopped my denial, went in for deep tissue massage and that did the trick, I am 80% better.  I have some deep areas in my glutes and hams which cannot be stretched myself, no matter how much I try.  I am very flexible, in the tendons but the muscle belly itself needed work, I also had a hamstring, the inner one, attched to the adductor........she had to rip them apart!
I was so light headed after the massage it took me 15 mins for it to subside.......now that is a ton of lactic acid build up!
So over the weekend I could see a big diff.  Its not perfect, I get tight and cannot bend but its not bad like before.
It just compounded from tightness to very very tight.  She said I have a battle going on in my pelvic girdle between these tight areas so its like a constant battle between them as they each pull my pelvis in different directions, which puts pain and pressure on my low low back and glute.  its isolated now to the glute so that was a good time to go in for treatment.
So yesterday I got in 20 mins of light cardio and an easy 2x10 on 8-9 machines, all body conditioning.
Today I did similar except I used 4 machines for cardio, did 5 mins on each and also I did my cardio first both days, normally I do it last.
Today I did some work on balance and extreme boards while doing some arm work.
I felt good so I decided at the end of the session to try a few skills............so far so good, no pain.  I did my cartwheel one armed, some holds and leaps- no pain -YEEEEEESSSSS!!!
I only have 3 months left to get this together and not sure I can do my aerial for this contest as the take off and landing really ranks on my pelvis and usually puts it out anyway, plus I have to whip my following leg after take off so we will see.
I did sent my music requests to my dj guy and have been looking at costumes.
It sucks that I cannot go full boar, I kinda feel like if you cannot, don't compete at all but at this level, its funny - sometimes they pick winners who I know even at my worst I can do better so I am going to really concentrate on the strength which they like and keep the routine as entertaining as I can.  This level show also has slower music and routines which still make top 3............but then again I always feel that because of my past with this org. I have to work twice as hard as everyone else as I already have black marks against me............politics suck but oh well, part of the game and this is the next goal I chose so I am up for the challenge.
Diet has been good for the past 2 days as well, so far so good sitting at about 2500 cals.  I am doing cardio daily now so if I don't lean fast enough to suit me, I will drop to 2000 cals and see from there, more cardio, less cals......etc as I get closer.

I started on ActivaTe so I will test it for a week alone, then go on NO Limits at the same time to finish the half bottle I have left.
I am going to begin an ActivaTe journal but once I go back on NO Limits I am going to add log here as well as the ActivaTe log and my journal.
