Dan posted an artical where they finally did a study on creatine. It's good stuff, even good for things like brain function. I love the stuff personally. Some don't respond as much to it as others. I have friends who it does nothing for.

They never did a real in depth scientific study like that one. Or so Dan said. I don't follow all of that. http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/NEW_Science_Shows_that_Creatine_Training_More_muscle/m_243358/tm.htm

i'm also been wondering if i should take creatine and or L-glutamine. i'm done some online reasearch about creatine, and the companies that sell it say its a must have and things like, "after a one hour workout it can take the body up to 6 days to recover and make more creatine," or like bodybuilders are always getting sick and creatine prevents that. then i ready other studies where it doesn't seem as important to building muscle, but just the preventing of breaking down muscle and imuniety. then i looked at my protien supplment. EAS. on the list of ingredients there is L-glutamine and others. i <3 eas, it working pretty well for me. when i take it after a hard workout or 2 hour dance class i'm not as sore as i would of been, and i have seen muscle growth and my strenght increased. even so 25 bucks for a 6lbs bag does break the bank ever 4-6 weeks(costco if awesome, but i'm still poor). i jsut want a supplment with the most bang for the buck.

Glutamine is a useless supplement. Don't get it.

(theire are other types of satellite cells in the body, but they have different functions.) secondly we all have the same muscles and the same amount of muscles. the only differnce from me and some body builder is the size of the muslces, theirs is obviously bigger. to me Creatine sounds like pseudo-science(false science, like eugenics)

All I can tell you is I initially can lift more and for a few more reps on creatine and whether creatine it's self helps with repair or not the added weight and reps to my lifts will build more muscle in and of it's self so either way I don't plan to stop using it.
