Howdy folks. Thought I'd start a journal. I realized my ego is kinda big in my opinion, as I have given advice in the teen bb/ powerlifting sections in the past without anything to back it up. This should humble me, as well as keep track of my progress.
My stats currently are:
Height: 5'8
Weight: 179.5
Age: 16
Bodyfat %: estimated between 13 and 15%
Lifts:
Bench: 185
Squat: 250 ATG
Deadlift (conv.) 300 (sumo) 295
100m: 13.59s
Goals for the end of summer:
Bench: 260
Squat: 335
Deadlift: 405
100m: 12s
I lift for strength, my gym is in my basement, and track/ field starts on the 26th of February, where I will be a thrower. I have never done track/ field, and I wanted to be a sprinter but I am too slow. I will probably also do programs designed more for hypertrophy also, just to switch things up, hence "All Around" in the title.
I am unsure as to what kind of training the coaches will have me to for track, but I will log it here if I remember it. I have just been doing speed work lately as I am recovering from injuries.
Dietwise, right now I am just eating at maintainence, low carb/ high fat and protein, recomposing my body. I don't really want to get bigger, just stronger and faster.
