Woke up at 6:45 am to make breakfast today. (7 hrs of sleep only)
Ate my yummy eggs, broccoli, flaxseed oil and oatmeal =D

Quads are still sore.

Workout:
Today was by far the best workout i've had. The antagonist training was awesome i felt exhausted by my 4th exercise and i was sweating while doing the full barbell squats! Weights i did were perfect. Overall i feel really satisfied with the workout. Even my abs workout was great =D (Did side crunches and leg raises)
Also did warm-up on the elliptical and cool down on the bike. My cool-down though it was not strainous at all felt like i was doing a 20km trail.

As for my BF% its gone up 16.0% to 17.0% =(. Its prolly due to the fact i ate lots of sugar and fat this week for my cheat meal. Also been taking some sweet stuff lately. My diet has also changed since a month ago now i'm eating more carbs then before which is right.

Theres a scale in my gym and i get the trainer to measure for me. All i do is step on the scale and he enters my weight and height and body type. Took its about half hour after my workout like i usually do.

They are the best way to track changes in body composition on your own.

You use them to help you time changes in training or diet.

Once you get whaere you want to be...you can use the mirror and the fit of cloths!

Just eat right and have fun.  Consider them recovery days. Smile

Dinner was good yesterday, had a really good sleep . Somehow when i eat more my muscles feel less soreSmile. Dunno if theres a link at all.

Today's chinese New year, gonna go around visiting people and having snacks Smile. Btw If i knew i was gonna eat something big for dinner/lunch should i still eat 6 meals a day but in small portions?

Plan for Monday:

Gonna go for gym before i get on the plane to melbourne.
Workout plan:

Inclined db press
Closed-grip pulldowns (Pronated)
Smith Machine Front Squat
Sumo-style Deadlift
Side DB raises
Hammer Curls

This time i'll be starting with Lower-Back Back Delts Biceps Chest Quads. Does it look ok?

Just got news from my sister that she's gonna prepare a bbq for me and then bring me to try some sashimi platter on tuesday. I know i should stay away from so much cheat meals a week but i feel bad if i dissapointed my sister by saying no. And if i carry on my efforts will go to waste!

Had to rush to gym today, grabbed a banana to eat.

Workout was not very good i must say. Much due to the fact i was adjusting the weights alot since they were new exercises compared to week 1 and 2. Lasted almost an hour =/. Didnt do abs or cooldown. (was in a rush to come back home).

Having been posting lately because theres no internet at home....been trying out lots of nice stuff in melbourne. (Beef , some bread here and there). Also i couldn't look at t-nation for the workouts under TBT so i did some other exercises =(. Dunno if this would affect my plan badly =/. I'm trying my best not to eat fatty food over here, but the beef is so nice. The bread too =D so fresh!. Would i put on fat if i ate lots of bread? Due to convenience i also eat deli turkey slices with pita wraps with lots of salads and some salsa sauce. Is this ok?

Your goal is to eat the best balanced meals you can.  Not to try to be perfect.

Train for fun!  Just train well and appropriately.

Avoid sugar and Trans fats (hydrogenation)
Minimize Saturated Fat
Be sure to get enough good fats

What you are doing sounds fine!

No internet still =(. So troublesome to come down and use the school library. Hopefully internet will be up at home soon. I've been training lately at the school's gym which has reasonable machines and weights to use. However i've not really followed the TBT programme to the extreme - i've done a few exercises other then those listed. I think this is alright as long as i follow most of the others.

As for my diet, I try my best to stay away from fried stuff and dairy. Last night however i ate a big meal with my sister and her friends(Asian fried food =/) could taste all that fat in it Smile. Also had a gelato icecream last night. Yummy. I do eat breads now and then though because the breads over here are so fresh and tasty.

I've got this bad habit of feeling my stomache and lovehandles every now and then and i keep feeling more down because i keep thinking i've put on more fat. Anyways i'll be starting cardio again next week (HIIT). Should i do it after workouts or do it on a rest day in the morning?

Btw sometimes since i'm out shopping or just walking around the city i try to find the best i can eat. But i see that most shops although they claim their healthy have alot of sauce and other stuff in their wraps. So i settle for a Turkey sub from Subway . Is it ok?

Do your best to choose compound movements whenever possible.  Otherwise just enjoy the variety!

Yumm..love REAL gelato.

Remember...1 cheat day a week..just strive to do better and better!

You are trianing better and different than ever and getting better and better...start to think in these terms NO MATTER WHAT the impulse is!

It is not the best food (you know that), but better than many choices.

I would even remove some or all of the bread...

Still no internet at my sis's house.....

Anyways its been almost a week since i posted now and so far its been the usual. I'm still eating bread almost 2 slices a day and having lots of steak! - Can't help it the steak here is so cheap from the market compared to back home. At home though i try to keep my meals as healthy as possible with the usual vegetables and potatoes. I trim my beef as lean as possible. But when it comes to dining out i can't do much =(. I've told myself to just enjoy myself while i'm here because every time i think too much about it i start feeling down and stuff which i hate.

Started my HIIT training this week as well. Its quite amazing how exhausted i get from those short runs. Weight training has been fine so far.

My strength though hasn't really increased over the pass few weeks =(

Strength results from strength specific training...

As long as you can focus on trying to get a lean protein, a vegetable and a whole starch each meal...you are doing ok.

You are still following the resistance training variations every week?
Strength with come slowly.  Gradually.
