Nice physique there twisted! I'm so jealious!!! ;).....I actually did indeed lose those 4kg in a month, so practically it has set me back 5 months, ahh!! Well my exams are finished, so I'm happy as well. My friend was like around 56kg when he first started working out (about 6'0), I think maybe around the same time as you, but yea, his like 73kg now. But I think you with the less weight gain look so much than him due to your leaness! :D. I was actually aiming for 62kg or so by end of this year, but the 4kg weight loss is going to set me back, damnit.

btw, grantoiz, do you both go to the same college/uni? Or do you get like the same type of examinations?

btw can you remember what you got for the ph of the weak acid? im sure it was methanoic, but im thinking the value i got was too strong for it.

YES!!!

I thought that was ****ed up too, i did the maths the way the book told me but it made a weak acid stronger than stomach acid nearly, ****ing weird!

Them graphs where easy marks, 1st rate means conc doubles-rate doubles, meaning straight line, and conc goes downard during reaction at the same rate meaning a semi circle going inwards in the x and y axis

I think one was 1 and 0....but i cant remember.

Yeah them last 2 questions got ****ing retarded, my friend ben did the same thing.

we both went to the last to pages, and just sat there staring aimlessly.

I moved onto the last question because i leave all titration Q's til last because theyre BITCHES.

I took trend and biochem january, i can help you out with them!

73 x 2.2=160.6lbs

im 162lbs or so the scales say -_-

I dont know TBH, I have one set of scales making me nearly 168lbs
my fiancees make me like 145lbs
and the gyms make me 162lbs

I personally think the gyms is more accurate, because theres no way in hell im nearly 170lbs, and im DEFINITELY not 145lbs.

we go to different colleges (i think he lives like 250 miles away from me lol) but were both doing OCR A level examinations.

thanks for the physique critique guys, i like that pose it shows off bicep defintion great, my fiancee says i look like jesus in it though where my heads down and my arms are outward lol

i think i got a ph of 2.7 which is way to low for a weak acid!

im giving up praying to get a c on that unifying paper. theres no way. maybe i can pull it off on the trends pattern. im not going to uni this year because ive got a job lined up, and ive im moving into a flat my dads owns with is prity nice so im sorted i just have to pay enough to cover the morgage, but id be bludy cr@ping myself right now if i were going to uni, but it would be n ice to get a C in chemistry ive already got a B in geography and a c in bussiness so have 3 A-levals over a c would look nice when applying to unis or futre jobsSmile

nope vdk we are just doing the same corse which is interesting seen as we live so far away. small world..

well i didnt get 2.7 so at least one of us got the wrong answer LOL.

**** workout today, did it at home, got bored of revision, il be starting properly the next monday coming up, right after 2 exams, so il be tired and my figures wont be good

today

floor press
20kg dumbells 3 seconds down, hold for 5 seconds, 3 seconds up
3 sets of 15 reps

20kg dumbells
5 seconds down, 3 second rest, power up
3 sets of 10 reps

20kg dumbells
standard reps with extreme "wide grip" in other words pushing them up but keeping them spread out, KILLLLLLLS THE PECS!!! I SUGGEST THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES CHEST SORENESS!

3 sets of 8 reps

bicep curls
16kg
3 sets of 12 reps

50kg barbell rows
3 sets of 8 reps

It was alright, my set only goes to 50kg (110lbs) so i couldnt really do much apart from arms, and barbell rows properly.

and for the first proper workout of the last 2 weeks.

surprising figures here.

some douche decided to try and outlift me at deadlifts, he was same height and around 180lbs 8=9% BF, and couldnt lift over 200lbs, but then continued acting mr "tough" guy at the gym, anyone familiar with them?

People who shout at there partner "ONE MORE!"
"COME ON YOU SISSY!"

and **** that really wont let them lift anymore

also, he benches like ****, he was wobby as hell, and all the reps were assisted, and even then-he was crap at it, and that was at 132lbs. He did 10 assisted reps.

anyway onto MY workout, whole body here apart from legs.

simple facts are, i HATE that ****ing smith machine, it feels weird, and my legs simply arent growing or getting stronger from it, they havent grown at all since losing the freeweight, il start squats when i get my freeweight gym.

here is ze vorkout!!!

dumbell press

52.8lbs x 10
57.2lbs x 6
61.6lbs x 8
57.2lbs x 6
52.8lbs x 10

the middle figure was aimed for 3, only i needed someone to get them up for me, and as my gym partner wasnt there i got someone to do it for me, they were partially assisted, mostly me, however he said not to go down too far, or its using more shoulder than chest, and you know what? he was right, i go down way too far on dumbells, to where my triceps are going a good 30 degrees downwards if that makes sense, and instead i was going to a perfect 45 degrees from chest, so it helped me lift more

IBB in your dumbell vid you went down less than me and no one complained, so my lifts will be going up in terms of dumbells, as going down less makes it hella easier.

incline dumbell press

44lbs x 10
48.4lbs x 6
52.8lbs x 3
48.4lbs x 6
44lbs x 10

bicep preacher dumbell curls
30.8lbs x 10 reps

THIS IS HARDER THAN BARBELL

its weird to explain but i just cant do a lot here, but on barbell im the same.

Deadlift

132lbs x 25 (just to see how many i could do, after 25 i got quite out of breath)
220lbs x 6
308lbs x 1
220lbs x 4

this is without a belt.
started feeling really weak here, deadlifts drained me, so i

benchpressed (LOL)

132lbs x 5 slow
155lbs x 0 (lock point for 10 secs)

Bloody pleased about yesterday, somehow after this time off ive not lost hardly any weight and lost no strength!!

I reckon i might be able to bench more soon with these dumbells and some other tricks up my sleeve heh.

anyway DIET breakdown

4500 cals

45/25/30

carbs/protein/fat

thats 2025 cals from carbs=506.25 grams of carbs, thats fine, pasta takes care of that, with loads of other things like fruits and vegges and even meats

protein=1125 cals=281.25 grams protein

easy as my diet budget has gone up, shall soon be consuming 4-6kg of chicken each WEEK, along with 3.5kg bag of pasta each week, along with a good 25litres of water (which is 25kg) with 3kg ish of misselaneous vegges and fruits and shakes etc.

thats over 35kg i put into my body each week....thats a lot, sure water just flushes out, but even without it, i consume tonnes of food weight already, and i manage to burn it off, ive never truly appreciated my metabolism til now.

anyway 1350 cals from fats=150 grams fat

I might lower protein even more, with this diet il be consuming 4.4lbs of protein a week, even with 50% of that not being used or used for cellular work and stuff thats still 2.2lbs potential lean gain, which is insane, protein could be cut down more, and substituted maybe for more fats, most likely carbs.

New part of the journal

Phase 2-getting out of this intermediate rut.

I've been hanging around 160lbs a lot lately, not that i mind, thats a good amount of weight to stick around at, im surprised i havent whittled down to 155lbs etc yet.

anyway i got some cheap great quality creatine today on offer

I know its nothing to make gains, but its nice having i guess.

sticking to same routine though, this week was slow week, so the reps were slow, i like the figures.

bench

132lbs x 9.5 (.5 stands for got nearly passed the lock point and lost strength and failed lol)
143lbs x 6
155lbs x 3
132lbs x 7

was looking for 10-6-3-6-10 but felt knackered after the 5th set

3 min rest

incline dumbell

20kg for 10
22 for 6
34 for 3
22 for 6
20 for 10

one arm DB preachers

12kg x 20
14kg x 10
16kg x 8

(MY GOD THIS RAISES YOUR BICEPS UP, MY BICEPS ACHE! THEY HAVENT ACHED IN YEARS!)

DB hammer preacher curl

I invented a new exercise, get a dumbell, hold it with both hands, and get on the preacher seat, make your arms point inwards, and spread elbows out, and start lifting hammer style, it KILLLLLS the biceps AND forearms, can really feel the muscles bulge and pump with fluid.

tricep kicbacks

3 sets of 12 reps at 10kg dumbell

bench dips

44lbs plate x10 (slow remember lol)
66lbs plates x 10
88lbs plates x 10

close grip pushups for triceps

1 set of 24 reps (HOLY COW!)

partials
90lbs x 10
90lbs x 8
90lbs x 6

holding weight at mid lock point

set 1

90lbs for estimated 17 seconds

set 2

90lbs for estimated 12 seconds

set 3

90lbs for estimated 5 seconds

went home.

okay today was okay, thought id utilise proper stiff legged deadlift-turns out theyre harder than normal deadlifts LOL.

SLDL

132lbs x 15
220lbs x 8
220lbs x 7
220lbs x 6
176lbs x 8
132lbs x 12

bench (bench whore alert)

132lbs x 10 (hellz yeah)
176lbs x fail
155lbs x 2.1 (one assisted rep)

pullups

2 sets of 5
1 set of 7

pulldowns

115lbs x 10
130lbs x 10
130lbs x 8

barbell rows

66lbs x 10
77lbs x 10
88lbs x 10

My biceps are amazingly sore so layed off them today lol.

Creatine works, i didnt feel worn out at all after this really, though i did sleep for a couple of hours when i got back after eating enough nutrients.

a-thankyou lol.

Yeah SLDL i have only gone to 176lbs in the past, never went as heavy as 220lbs, and back then i was doing 176lbs for 6-8 reps, now im doing that only 44lbs heavier.

Bench i got a full 10 slow unassisted reps on 132lbs going 1" from chest, friday, 137.5lbs 10 times

dont know why i couldnt do 176lbs, it didnt feel heavy much, i just couldnt get it past the lock point, thats my problem, that damn lock point.

Anyway onto training.

Somehow with increased fats and carbs, im losing fat, i can see my abs really good now, but ive gained 1lbs too...must be water weight...though ive only been on creatine two days, taking 3rd dose soon....Maybe im just a quicker responder now?

I remember bloating up before. its not doing that right now, though i can tell its retaining in my muscles, they feel softer and look more bulgy, only slightly.

scales show me at 162lbs still, +/-

WHAT THE FOOK?!?!

scales in at 164lbs just half a day later, my jesus god thats gotta be water! haha!

still got the 6 pack still though.

Bench
132lbs x 10 (slow reps, 3-4 secs per rep, reckon i couldve done 12-13 but was aiming for 10)
137.5lbs x 8
132lbs x 5

Incline dumbells
20kg x 10
22kg x 8
20kg x 10

preachers
66lbs x 20
77lbs x 15
88lbs x 7

bench
132lbs x 10
132lbs x 12 (fast motion, was feeling worn out and knew i couldnt do this slowly)

bench dips
44lbs plate x 12
88lbs plates x 8

dumbell preachers
12kg-14kg-16kg for 20-15-10

Deadlift (SLDL)
132lbs x 10
220lbs x 10 (fook me!)

Im not entirely sure but i think when i wait a whole week between deadlifting, ive rested too much, and im "out of practice" as it were, hence why i cant WAIT to get my own gym.

so then

Mon-wed-fri-sun-tue-thur-sat-mon-wed-fri-sun-tue-thur-sat-mon-wed-fri

etc etc.

That way i can train everything much closer and not feel like im starting again.

Bench is going great, im definitely on workout terms in reps with 132lbs now, no going back to 110lbs for normal grip apart from warmups.

Soon gonna start transitioning so all my bench main reps are on 143lbs, even if it means only doing 6-9 reps-my chest is getting used to heavier weights.

It feels weird but 132lbs can still feel heavy when i lower it down, but i can lift it, and though it takes more energy than what im used to, i can still handle 10+ reps on it.

All rest was 1 minute today.

Forgot to mention wednesday i did ab crunches with 44lbs plate holding UP, not against chest, was holding it above me, KILLS the abs good.

I think these gains are mostly from training and my new diet, a good 10-15% from the creatine, im not worn out after workouts anymore, after the hour i still feel pretty fresh, but i know i shouldnt go on.

I love taking my father to the gym with me... he really got into it after he saw what I could do... he is 5'10 225 But really lacked the strength when he first got in... Takes about 3 - 4 months until they start getting back up to par.

It should be interesting seeing what your father can do.. Posts his lifts you know like his reps. what are his stats anyways? I could have sworn you said before he was a pretty big dude..

Hes never been before so i dont know if il like it, i probably will, though he will outlift me in everything, even at his age and with his stiffness etc.

well he weighs a lot more than i thought he did LOL.

He's 6'2 1/2" and he said he was 240lbs, turns out hes nearing the 275lbs mark, and hes adding some fat 6 months ago ish, id say around 16-17% BF max, so hes got 230lbs LBM roughly.

He has a weak ankle, and the doc says its his weight, thing is, he's naturally that big, even just getting rid of 3-5% fat so hes at 12-14% which is average, he'll still be in excess of 260lbs.

55" chest ish
19 1/2" biceps
30" ish quads
18" ish calves
36-38" waist

Theyre estimates, and im good at estimating, i know his biceps are deffo 19 1/2" thats not estimate.

For that reason i dont think his squat especially will be that much, his deadlift might be low too...dunno...

He eats only around 2000 cals max a day too, his appetite isnt what it used to be, but his weight just stays the same maybe adding more fat every now and then, but hes starting to control that now and has started to lose some.

I dont know when i'll be able to get him down there, but il post the big three lift results.
