Well that superset most definitely worked. The morning after i felt like CRAP even worse is i had to spend 2 hours doing chemistry coursework, in which twice i pretty much collpased and had to take a break. My body had shivers, hot flushes, and overall feeling of nausea and tiredness and lack of ANY strength. Next morning now, im as fit as ever. Seems i kicked my body into submission that day haha! As a result fridays routine was ruined, luckily though it was only back shoulder and tricep work and i can use my home weights for that workout for tonight.

Errr..got the attention of the nervous system! It is the backlash from overtraining...from the stress response. During the workout your body thought you were fighting a dinosaur (old lessons die hard in the cells) and produced tons of cortisol and maybe adrenalin...then the next day you were a wreck when the last of them were re-absorbed...but the receptors were wanting more. He he he..crushed! So is that good or bad...well lets say, if it is infrequent and there is sufficient recovery, then there is likely a positive response overall. If you did that on an ongoing basis...it would be bad. Even resulting in adrenal exhaustion, immune system weakness..basically OVERTRIANING.

Yeah i might make the supersets smaller next time LOL. My legs feel damn PUMPED today though

aup andy saw your post in vegs diary, im sure your not the weakest bencher in here. its just if people do actually bench under 150 they just dont post there weights up. i no this for a fact. i go the gym with a 6 foot 6, 17 stone lad, hes 17, and he can only do 100 pounds once. bench isnt every thing either, you squat **** loads more than most especially me lol. anyway have you considered trying the max-ot as you no im using it, and i actually think its an amazing strengh routine. im prity sure once you get working you will get to 150 pounds on the bench. also i think you should try the supp that ive been taking, the tribulas, its defo worked for me! good luck link.

thanks grant, i can squat more than 155lbs like last superset, but i knew id be supersetting, and didnt feel like cranking out a nice set of 176lbslbs, doing lunges and legpress, and then being submissioned into going WAY down to 110-132lbs for the next 2 sets LOL. I will be aiming for a 4 set superset leg next week though, but im going to have a break between each whole set, and aiming for 165-176lbs per set, time to get my squat weight up biatches! (It's also a brilliant way to gain weight because it releases test like mad and its a large muscle that allows good weightgain in when adding muscle) so squat lunges legpress rest squat lunges legpress Because the day after the last time i didnt rest was seriously bad, i was in the computer room and my friend just said to me "you look like ****, go home, because i dont really feel like carrying you home right now" LOL Yes i have considered max OT, im going to do it most definitely once i reach a legitimate 155lbs LBM, right now im at 140.5lbs LBM. Because by then i will be 170lbs+ given il be adding fat (though i didnt last week, groovy! lol) and then il probably plateu like a **** haha! Thing is ive tried strength routines before, and it got me into 220-245lbs deadlifts, 220-265lbs squats, 100lbs+ barbell rows or dumbell row equivalent adding up dumbells, 176lbs shurgs, nearly 100lbs barbell bicep curls, but it didnt make my bench go up a whole damn lot LOL. No matter how i train, strength or bulk-my bench is shyte, and ive come to terms with that fact, and thats why i wont really be hard on myself for shyte benching much anymore. Actually funny you mention that big friend of yours, my 6'6" 290lbs friend has gone up to 308lbs in the last MONTH! I told him his body was getting ready for another growth spurt, and he said "****!" The hilarious (and also annoying) thing is his mum is 5'1", and his dad is 5'9",both ectos, and he ends up 6'6"+ and meso/endo ish. People say hes fat but he really isnt,he has a belly, and tits as i say, but when i tried pinching fat on his arms and back-he had hardly anything, the skin was real tight and the flesh underneath was thick and strong, he is definitely not fat all over, just his belly, making him 15% ish for BF, considering his arms are defined like mine, but his stomach isnt He can bench 110lbs twice now, but he was WOBBLY as hell and the form was T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. so im sticking him on 90lbs for now lol. I will be taking that tribulus supp, test boost will help me gain weight or gain strength.

Yeah but ive got a feeling you could do more if you pushed yourself, youre a true form fan il give you that vdk, you dont let ego burn you down-and thats a great thing. Todays workout was excellent, i got it to hour 10 mins, which is technically not good i suppose, but hey, last time i racked out high reps and long workouts, i gained lol. superset 1 1st exercise:benchpress 90lbs x 12 110lbs x 10 121lbs x 10 110lbs x 10 2nd exercise:Dumbell flyes 26.4lbs x 12 33lbs x 10 33lbs x 10 33lbs x 10 3rd exercise:bentover cable crossovers 3 sets of 10 reps at 70lbs each cable thingy lol Supserset 2 1st exercise:Hammer curls 45lbs x 12 55lbs x 10 65lbs x 10 65lbs x 10 2nd exercise:Preacher curls 45lbs x 12 55lbs x 10 75lbs x 10 75lbs x 10 supserset 3 1st exercise: wide grip pulldown 55lbs x 12 66lbs x 10 77lbs x 10 88lbs x 10 2nd exercise: Benchpress 90lbs x 10 90lbs x 10 90lbs x 10 Aaaaand i did some lateral raises but nothing worth mentioning lol Im feeling pretty drained right now haha!

Oh also, as my gyms moving theyre selling the old equipment, and some powerlifter was buying it and testing it out, this guy looked proper powerlifting style, he was 6'3" ish and was easily 280lbs, around 15% BF, his calf muscles had tendons showing and they were HUGE, and he tests out the power cage on squats, racks on 700lbs, and reps it like its nothing. I just stared and thought "holy ****" I wish id recorded it now, though hed probably have got mad LOL.

HAHA! Unfortunately it didnt to any great extent, this is wednesdays workout, and i weighed myself yesterday too, quite a shocker. as the legpress machine was painted over to make it look better for selling, my foot slipped, and i dont need to explain the rest, luckily i was on a warmup so no damage done, but i skipped legpress yesterday-so did everyone else, because they used some stupid slippery paint and everyone was breaking there asses LOL. superset 1:squats 132lbs x 10 154lbs x 10 165lbs x 10 176lbs x 10 Rest 60 seconds superset 2:lunges 45lbs dumbells x 10 45lbs x 10 45lbs x 10 50lbs x 10 Rest 60 seconds superset 3:deadlifts 132lbs x 15 176lbs x 10 176lbs x 10 176lbs x 10 176lbs x 10 Rest 60 seconds superset 4:bentover barbell rows 90lbs x 10 90lbs x 10 100lbs x 10 100lbs x 10 Rest 60 seconds superset 5:Dumbell shrugs (gym got stupidly busy and the barbells vanished into oblivion lol) 45lbs x 10 (each arm) 55lbs x 10 60lbs x 10 60lbs x 10 Rest 60 seconds superset 6:decline crunches 22lbs plate on chest x 15 for 3 sets. I weighed in at 153.5lbs, and i hadnt eaten in 2-3 hours! wahoo! My BF% i didnt get measured though, but im sure its not higher than 8% Im also feeling fine today, so no cortisol pump for me lol 4lbs weightgain in two weeks! Though im sure its newb/muscle memory gains, but i dont care, weight is weight lol.

LOL, actually upon further digging, i appear to have LOST Bodyfat, im down to 7.2% apparently, but i dunno, i reckon that might just be dehydration or lack of food when i got measured, i mean .6% of ~153.5lbs is .7lbs roughly, which isnt a lot really, so its nothing to really make any hard writing in lol. Fridays workout was soul killing, just like fridays usually are, for many reasons. 1.The weights used are light 2.Its friday, i just want to sit back before i have work during the weekend 3.I have coincidental problems with dieting fridays, i appear to glutton or have nothing, which isnt good at all. Anyway heres the "workout" lol. Superset 1:Benchpress 90lbs x 10 100lbs x 10 110lbs x 9 90lbs x 10 Superset 2:Barbell skull crushers 33lbs x 15 44lbs x 10 55lbs x 10 55lbs x 10 superset 3:Shoulder barbell press 60lbs x 12 70lbs x 10 80lbs x 10 90lbs x 2 My strength went here, obviously, and decided to quit while i was ahead LOL. Im not surprised, my triceps and shoulders are my weak points, i need to tackle this problem though as lacking tris mean no growth on bis and lacking shoulders means crap lats, chest and delts. As monday and tuesday my gym is closed for new equipment, i benchpressed this day, and i can do arm curls and lat work at home as my home weights are heavy enough to push my bis etc. Wednesday im hoping to do the same weights for squats and maybe a set of 200lbs for deads. My weight transitioning is slower here, last time with the 5x5 i could add 10lbs every week nearly, for the first few months to 200-220lbs odd, but with these higher reps that last wednesday nearly killed me, i can do 176lbs for ages usually, but having only 10 secs rest between each set and continuously going up by 10lbs per set really does wear you out lol Im hoping to get to 160lbs by march time.
