Today is an off day and i'm not even going to post my workout from ysterday because i only did 3 sets then i left.  i haven't had one of those "bad day" things in a long time, but i did yesterday.  not sure why but i just felt weak and tired and un-focused.

I still felt a little wierd today, hopefully tommorow i'll be back to normal.  i learned a lesson today, ALWAYS DO DEADLIFT LAST!.  i was too exhausted to do anything else afterwards.  i think i'm right about the deadlift thing being a on/off in terms of me liking it, because today i didn't like it at all.

I was trying to figure out what my goals are going to be when i start cutting in a few monthes.  assuming i reach my goal of 180 lbs, and the way it's going i will probably have about 16% BF, which means my LBM would be 151.2 and BFM would be 28.8 (this is where algebra is actually used!)  i did a little guess and check thing with this, but if i lost about 15 lbs, almost all of it being fat,then my BFM would be 13.8 and my total body weight would be 165 lbs.  so that means i would be at about 8.36% BF, which sounds good, but that might be a little too optimistic.

Today was a good workout...except for the fact that it was about 25 minutes after the end of my workout until i got my shake and banana, but then when i got home, there were no more bananas! i had to wait so long because my dad is getting serious about running again and he needed to saty long enough to run 6 miles, so i ended up waiting in the car for like 20 minutes.  felt kind of stupid but i had nothing else to do.  from now on i'm going to bring a banana with me in the car so if that happens at least i'll get my PWO sugar

i always pre-mix my shake before i go to the gym and i also bring a cup of grape juice w/ me for carbs postwo.  that way if anything were to happen, car wont start, etc, i can still get my nutrients i need

Well i found something to use my calculator for other than games and homework.  i used the stat plot thing to plot my weight on the y-axis and the weeks since the begining on the x-axis.  then i found the linear regression equation and plugged that in.  and according to that, if i continue to gain weight at the same rate i am now, then i will reach my goal about 1 week ahead of time!Smile  but i don't want to get my hopes up because i know that it won't be consistent.

well i gained like 2 lbs so that's cool but my BF% went back to 17% so i gained about a pound of fatSmile but i still gained some LBM.

I felt weak as sh*t on squats today.  i haven't done them for a month so what can i expect?  for that reason i did leg press, which i normally don't do both, and of course i was alot weaker on that because of doing squats first.  i don't understand why on lying leg curls, each set i get significantly weaker.  my calf raise finally went up today!!!!!User Posted Image

i was at my dad's house yesterday so i didn't have my BF caliper so i didn't measure my body fat this morning so i'm gonna do it tommorow morning and post it then, but i did gain 1.5 lbs!!!

i'm going to try to rearrange my back routine based on stuff i figured out through mistakes.  basically i have 4 exercises: pull-ups,pull-downs,barbell rows,deadlift.  i can't do deadlift before rows because it makes my back to tired to support the weight.  if i do deadlift last then i'm too tired for that.  and i can't do pulldowns before pull-ups because pull-ups are harder.  soooo.....how does this sound?


3x8 - barbell row
3x?  - pull-ups (either wide grip or underhand)
4x5 - deadlift
3x8 - pull-downs (either wide grip or close grip)

next week i'm going to try it that way

well yesterday was the start of the second semester, meaning my schedule changed and now i have to figure out a new way to get in all my calories at school.  i used to have fourth lunch at 12:15, so i could eat in second period at 9:30 and then eat when i got home at 2:30.  but now i have lunch first at 10:34 (wtf?) so that's about 3.5 hours after breakfast, then i can't eat in my third or fourth period because they are both science classes and they are strict about food in there.  i've got to figure something out though.  i could always look like a freak and wolf down two sandwiches on my way to fourth period in the hallway.Smile  plus i have like 20 freshman in one of my classes!!! Smile

Eat the freshman. If you're careful, and divvy them up, you should be able to get adequate calories from 1 freshman/week. You can store them in their lockers. They shouldn't smell too bad right away Smile.

well i was eating 3 a day, and yes it was natural peanut butter and whole wheat bread.  that's changed now because of my schedule change in school i have a different lunch shift so my eating schedule is messed up.  i'm gonna try to make some homemdade protein bars so i can eat them quick  in between classes and stuff.  i should have a new meal plan posted before monday.  i'm not sure what body type i am, but i know i'm not ecto, i know i'm not meso, process of elimination, endomorph.  but not really really endo, i'm only about 17% body fat right now
