Okay I am going to start training again on Monday of next week..

Thats right 10 days is almost up!! wohoo that didnt take long at all!!

My plan is for most bench's im going to use dumbells.. I think it was the barbells that injured me.. I may still use barbells for my incline though.

If you think the barbells did the injury, test your theory out by avoiding them all together.  Otherwise, you'll never have a chance of knowing!

That is the exact order i did it... Omg It did kill trust me!  I was just kind of mixing it up the whole time.

The thing that really killed me that day is i was working in with smaller guys in my gym.  So he is shrugging 135 - 185 lbs then i have to keep taking all the damn plates off and putting them back on Smile  I was starting to get tired.  Same goes for the shoulder press.  But then one of them gave me a compliment and i felt really good about my self. Smile  So I guess it was worth taking the plates off putting them back on etc...

I might be taking up a new hobby this week.. BJJ  I always did want to grapple.. Think im going to start doing that once a week I just got to make it over to the gracie school this week so I can get started.  Unless i chicken out due to the fact that i dont usually have alot of time during the week.

Okay so i worked out today started with dumbells I still pushed a barbell because MY INJURY TOTALLY HEALED! WOHOO!! Smile   Now the ****ty part...  I started with 90lb DB's and i was doing sets of 8... Im not sure if i got weaker but I couldnt push **** after that on everything SmileSmile Im also not use to dumbells though I rarely do them especially flat db press..

Flat DB Press:

90 x 8
90 x 8
90 x 8

Decline Barbell Press:

225 x 9
205 x 8 <-- I was so tired my arms just wouldnt push Maybe it was the DB's that kicked my ass?

Weighted Dip Press:

180 x 10
250 x 8
300 x 8

Incline controlled machine Swing with plates:

180 x 8
180 x 8
180 x 8

Flies Machine:

185 x 10
210 x 6
195 x 6

PATHETIC NUMBERS!! I wish I had a spotter for my DB press though I would have just done 95's x 6 - 8...  Maybe it was just a bad day Smile

at least my height and weight is:

6'1
191lbs

So im around the same. bit of a change in body comp though.

Dumbells will ALWAYS kick your ass.  Seriously.  I always have to go down in weight if I just change an exercise by replacing barbell with dumbell.  Not at all unusual.

I wouldn't fuss too much about the weights:  (1) I think you're going for muscle growth, so no biggie as long as the muscles keep growing; and (2) a 10 day lay off will bring a small decrease in strength, but is short enough that your strength will zoom back, so don't sweat it.

Glad to hear that you're healed!  That's tremendous news!!

Oh nvm I see from weeks back I have not done flat db press in months... So... That has to explain it... Before i only did decline for 2 sets  1 set 85 x 8  the other 95 x 8  That was a decline which makes it easier and I didnt do as many sets and reps so that I wouldnt tire out...  So the next time I go to the gym Ill do 95lb DB's for 10 reps on the decline or Ill use a barbell with the usual 255

Thank you man.. I really appreciate it.. I was starting to freak out.. I felt the darkside comming back out of me for a minute.  You wouldnt believe how pissed I was in the gym.  Everything I grabbed felt lighter but my muscles got tired soo fast probably because of the break,  I also felt like i was going to throw up.

Classic from a layoff.  (Well, maybe not the throwing up part--that just sometimes comes with working out hard).

Yeah, you're nervous system will be firing up in no time.

Nah BF% isnt really changing much..  Im actually trying to clean bulk to the best of my capabilities.. Yeah its wierd man...  My arms get so big is strange.   I think they are just  a little over 16 inches now.  I got my chest a bit more up to speed.. I really need to work on this lat width though.  I donno...  Think I might start hitting my arms day again everytime i do they seem to grow so well.

ITS SO HARD TO BE GOOD!

This natural gaining thing is really depressing.. Im so freaken tempted and my " friends " not sure if I could call them that keep trying to talk me into another cycle.. And it is tempting! I mean what would you guys do if you knew you could just do one powerfull ass cycle and bump up to 20lbs under your goal weight... Smile and keep the same BF%.. **** **** ****! Not to mention natural gaining takes so damn long.

But just last night I noticed something... The acne on my back is starting to come back... I couldnt sleep very well and for the past 3 days I cant keep my hands off my Girlfriend. I almost feel like im running a cycle again its nuts. The thing i worry about is the constant gas that I have, Worried about gastric cancer or what ever. Its probably just all the damn food I eat though.

Like i said I have done just about every drug.. Coke Meth Extacy Tabacco Alcohol Mushrooms Marijuanna... But the steroids is the hardest to stop! It teases you! gives you 20 lbs then takes away 5 then slows your natural test production then its hard to gain for months 1x - 2x the amount of time you took them for is the amount of time it stops your natural progress.. so its almost like your waisting money. 20lbs in three months is actually 20 lbs in 6 months.. Unless your running cycle after cycle but then your odds of getting messed up increase.

Since i started this thread I have been natural though and unlike other juicers I have lost 0 gains. Thats the reason why everyone likes to accuse me of still using it. I have to figure out a natural way to shock my system.. I think the one week off may have worked... Im not sure yet though I wont know for another 2 - 3 weeks. I think im going to go to GNC and Purchase some sups.. I really need something to increase my calorie intake bump it to 5000 calories instead of the 4,200 that im getting now.

Concerning the dumbbell bench press,

You may be lifting less because your forearms get tired.  I know when i used to do them without wrist straps, my forearms almost gave out on me when i was doing decline barbell presses.  Also, when you do dumbbells, such as 90's, its like your doing 25-40 lbs. more on a barbell, but since you have to stabilize the weights more, you cannot do as much on the dumbbells.

By the way, sick tattoos on your chest, i wanted to get one there but im still heavily debating it.
