Ah so true! Definitely wouldn't have to worry about tension there! Perfect pairing IMO. Too bad I moved to Miami instead of Chicago eh? Of course now I'm back in Ohio so it's nice and cold when I want to go run or do plyos. Bleck.

ORIGINAL: veggeep Just because this post lacks an introduction, I hardly think that equates to someone trying to take credit for the content. There is a very obvious blurb about the author, as well as complete bibliographical references given, and I didn't have any trouble distinguishing him from tdf700. tdf700 is well within his rights to post the material (granted, he might want to preface it a little better in the future, but I see no reason to jump down his throat about it). I welcome any material like this -whether it be a legitimate article with a research bent, or marketing masquerading as science. I happen to be of the opinion that the latter applies to this particular article. <snip> My bad for missing the blurb on the author. Apologies there. Clarification: tdf has no legal right to post others' copyrighted material without permission. Unless you're in the UK, where the doctrine of fair use is different than here. I'm sensitive to this issue, not just because I'm an IP attorney, but also because there have been indicents in the past on this board where not only material was swiped, but then the poster tried to take credit for it. Plagiarism pisses me off--as it should any honest person. So, my apologies for missing the credit to the writer. Sorry. I'll take a cold shower for that, 'k?

That make the anal-retentive guy inside of me very happy, too! (Sorry I'm so anal, I can't help it. Talk to my parents. I understand that they had a hand in this). Back to the substance of the article. I've always wondered about people's love affair with vasodilators, regardless if they work to build muscle or increase strength. I need to read the article more carefully, but I wonder how much the placebo effect has been studied when correlated with a real physical change (e.g., a pump). Maybe what is happening that there is an increase in strength and/or muscle size over time with use of such products because the physical effect "psychs" the user ("it's working! it's working!"), spurring him/her on to excel. Hmmmm.

NO was the molecule of the year alittle while ago and was originally used for many other things besides weight lifting. regarding this guys copy and paste job, to me its pretty clear this stuff is copied from ads and the whole "and this is why u should buy our product" stuff was just not included.

You'll recall that I commenced my own Nitrix supplementation trial strictly out of the desire to throw in a little aesthetic enhancement. Hell yes, staring into a mirror while you're pumping out inclined DB presses and Alt DB curls, and your veins are popping out like ropes DEFINITELY has a motivating effect. Did it translate specifically and directly to increased protein synthesis in the muscle tissue? I seriously doubt it. If nothing else, NO supps make for a great ego boost. If you can get the same result with a clever choice of tuneage on your iPod, then by all means, save the money (I don't know about any fat reduction claims, but Nitrix DOES have a profound slimming effect on your wallet ).

Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.
