There are other productive exercises to get your shoulders growing then arnold presses or upright rows such military presses, benches presses, squats, deads, rows, chins that get your shoulders growing. Show me a guy if he can add 100-200 pounds on arnold presses or upright rows and show me guy who adds 100-200 lbs on his rows, military presses,deads, squats and then tell me which is more superior for shoulders.
As for pec flyes, they come no where near bench presses. I see people complaining about there inner pec, out pec nonsense and then rely on flies. Show me a guy who increases his flies from 50lbs to 120 lbs. And show me a guy who adds 100-200 lbs on bench. Then tell me which is superior.
Towards your denisty question, my bad I've missed out I just did a search on it. I didn't quite understand what is it you wanted my opinion on towards density. Did you want my opinion on muscle mass? To build muscle mass I think anyone who starts there career should start off with compound work and use it to build their body to fullest potential.
