Isopure is 100% isolate meaning its the highest quality protein. gold standard is a good quality concentrate protein with some isolate but with a great price. muscle milk is a combination of things. There are better proteins out there that are 100% isolate with better prices.

You cant get better than tuna, and to be quite honest, the amounts of protein and quality of them in them supps are so little you might as well just get the cheapest stuff there, as long as you get enough your body needs who really cares lol.

ON 100% Whey Protein Isolate isn't 100% isolate?...... That's not true. And yes, it is good flavored, but not near as good as Muscle Milk or Cyto Gainer.

Am I guessing correctly in that protein in foods (fish, meat) is better than protein in supplements? I don't take any of this stuff, and I hope I'm right in just choosing the edible foods path...

i dunno about the best, but i can tell you what works for me. EAS. its 27g for two scoops, i only use one in a drink, but i've seen alot of postive results since taking this. i tried something else before and saw nothing. but with EAS, my recovery time is quicker, less soreness, i've increase my overall body strengh and i've way more muslce, in the places i want, than before. i mean now i can do like 10-15 pulls up, and bench way more and have longer workouts and if i were to lose some body fat(~12% atm, 6 ft 145lbs) i would have a really well defined 8-pack. edit: oh a bunch of you guys said tuna and chicken. i <3 both, but tuna really isn't all that great. it has alot of cholestral and sodium. granted your body does use cholestral to make steroids like testerone, but you don't want that bad cholestral that cloats arteries and veins(HDL) and your liver makes its own, healthy cholestral, LDL. honestly tho, beans are a very healthy alter to tuna. tho not all beans are created equalty. i <3, i mean LOVE black eye peas. very low fat, ok sodium(you do need some in your diet), potassium(helps with muscle recovery, sorness and charles horse), some carbs, tons of fiber and protein. in a 1/2cup of beans it has 10grams of protein. combine that with some brown rice and noodles and i'm full. not so tasty, but its healthy and i'm full. http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/8462/pic2888ax4.jpg oh and about two years ago i was anorexic and could see 8 of my 12 pairs of ribs and well i had little A cup tits and all of that. i think i've done a pretty good job with my recovery. but still really thin.

If you're asking what the best protein is, it's derived from Chicken, Steak, Tuna etc. REAL FOOD essentially. However, I and many others know that its very difficult to eat constantly all poultry(chicken), lean meats(steak), and seafood(Shrimp,Tuna) six times a day only because of timing purposes. Therefore, do this: PreWO-WHEY Protein Drink(ON makes a good one) PostWO-WHEY Protein Drink For you're actual meals, make all of them food as aformentioned above. Before Bed: CASEIN Protein Drink or Peanut Butter, or like I do, both! This, I believe, is the best way to get you're daily protein. Or atleast that's how I do it.
