well it's mainly my left side, when i do military presses and bench press i can here my left shoulder kinda poppin, it doesn't hurt or anything it just makes like weird noises, and my left wrist when i do forearm curls. i do stretch pre and post workout. the joints don't cause me any pain but i don't think the noise is supposed to be there so i was hopeing to get something that might build up some extra cartialdge and maintain the joint.

Hey mickeybue37;

I have had occasional pain in my elbows when exercising,  I then started taking ISS Therajoint which contains Glucosamine, Chondroitin and some other goodies, together with Omega 3-6-9 oil caps. With these two products I personally have not had any joint problems and I believe helped me do my w/o's with more increased intensity and be more enjoyable.

You can lighten up on the weight for starters and remember to warm up the joints in addition to your muscles before working out because, the structure of a joint consists of ligaments surrounding two bony surfaces covered with cartilage and is lined by a synovial membrane filled with synovial fluid. This fluid provides a slippery surface between the cartilage acting like a lubricant, so the cartilage glides over smoothly on weight bearing joints. So, warm up first in order to start producing the proper amount of synovial fluid to protect the joints. Glucosamine and Chondroitin, assist in the manufacturing of cartilage and synoviol fluid. (When age or tissue traumas occur the synoviol fluid becomes thinner and is less effective.)

For those who may not know, Glucosamine is derived from shellfish and those individuals who may be sensitive or allergic to any form of shellfish should avoid products containing Glucosamine and should ask your MD for advice before taking these products.

Peace

Some herbs that help alot are boswellia, turmeric, cats claw and ginger. You might try some of these along w/ gluco/ chondroition/msm stack for the best effects. I can attest that msm by itslef helps alot.

Don't know whether or not GNC carries this product but, you can get it on this site for about 24 bucks for 120 caps. Other sites may offer the same for a few bucks less.
