Lets hope this sequal is better than the original! 10 week goals 10/8-12/16: - Loose 20 lbs (or more)
- Increase strength by 20% (or more)
- Complete Couch to 5K program and be able to run for 20-30 mins
Program: - 3 day split - legs, push, pull - 8-12 reps
- diet - low carb/high protein
Sunday 10/8: Cardio 30 mins elliptical, 5 working intervals, approx 300 cals Monday 10/9: Legs Squats (warm up 27 lbs, 2x12) 50 lbs 3x10 SLDL 50 lbs 3x10 Standing BB Calf Raises 100 lbs 2x12, 1x10

Thanks. I *was* strong. My DL, squat and bench are pretty sad right now compared to what I was lifting. But I'll get it back. Slow and steady wins the race right?

Friday 10/13 - Cardio Couch to 5K, week 1, session 1. Those jogging intervals kicked my butt! Hard to imagine I could be running 5K in 9 weeks. Saturday 10/14 - Push Flat BB Bench Press (w/u 37lbs 2x12) 50lbs 1x10, 2x12 Standing BB Mil Press 37lbs 3x10 Skull Crushers 32lbs 3x10 My 5yo decided he needed to do skull crushers, so I set him up on the bench with a plastic baseball bat as a bar. He had terrible form.  Need to work on that. Week 1 Results -3.8 lbs

Good luck Jenn. I love the couch to 5K idea and I know you'll be able to do it. Ashley told me that she feels recovered enough to try and start doing Crossfit with me this week. If you think you might like to work in a session or two (your place or mine) sometime, let me know.

Boy, I guess I would have no excuses when the 4w postpartum woman can do crossfit and I am too scared to try it. I'll keep my eye out for an easy day. lol Sunday 10/15 - planned day off Monday 10/16 - Unplanned day off (doh!) Ill timed meetings and a marked lack of naps from the baby made it so I couldnt even find 30 mins to get a workout in. I felt crappy too. Tuesday 10/17 - Legs Squats (w/u 37lbs 2x12) 65lbs 3x10 SLDL 55 lbs 3x10 Standing Calf Raises 95 lbs 3x12

Friday - 10/20 Couch to 5K, Week 1.2 Saturday - 10/21 Push Flat Bench (w/u 37lbs 2x12) 55lbs 3x10 Incline Bench 45lbs 3x12 Seated Mil Press 45lbs 3x10 Overhead Tricep Press 37lbs 3x8 Week 2: No weight change. Trying to tell myself that I am gaining muscle and loosing fat, no biggie, don't get discouraged. My diet was not totally clean this week, too much stress so I snacked a lot. So this week I am back to inputting everything in fitday and watching my calories and ratios.

Sunday 10/22 - Cardio 25 mins elliptical (intervals) Monday 10/23 - Legs Squats (w/u 37lbs 2x12 - did one set of wide leg squats - wow!) 65lbs 4x10 SLDLs 65lbs 3x10 Standing Calf Raises 95lbs 3x12 - definitely notice my balance getting better here. Dont want to add more weight til I know I wont be tipping over. :)

Tuesday 10/24 - Planned day off Wednesday 10/25 - Unplanned day off. Second time this has happened, where after a planned day off, I cant get my butt in gear. I just felt sluggish and blah all day.
