You was 1" from the chest, youre lying, scum! LOL.

J/k.

I dont mind being proved wrong, its great actually, i just dont like to believe anomolies such as this one, i have a scientists brain and like to see evidence for anything out of the ordinary to believe it.

Seen better form, but still 340lbs with average form is still excellent.

Hey you need to stick with it too kid! Honestly.. I mean if you have a passion for lifting you need to keep with it.. you could be the next strong man Smile I have seen 195 lb man press 400+ lbs at 5'9 but he was 26 years old... Your only 15!

I wish I could see what you deadlift squat and dumbell press etc... You said you just worked on chest for 3 years though...

Thanks a lot for all the compliments guys.  All try to answer some of your questions here (IBendBarbells).  Yeah, I have been pretty much focusing on chest up until this point.  That is not all I do, I have worked on everything else, just not extensively as the bench and chest exercises.  One of my major things I am starting to work on here is legs.  I haven't really gone crazy with them, but right now I am starting to work with that.  I have never really done any squating or deadlifting either, but that will change here.  Right now, I am just letting my sternum heal and taking it easy.  Once that is done, I will try to get my bench back up to 400lbs or so, and then I am going to hit all my weaker points hard.  I am going to start doing the deadlifts and squats frequently, so I can get that up to par with my bench.  Bodybuilding and weightlifting though, in general, is something that I have loved doing for a while now.  I am definetely not stopping anytime soon.  As of my chest training, it varies a little.  I work it out almost everyday of the week.  There are days though when I hit it extra hard and some days not as hard.  But all in all, I probably work the chest, on average, about four-five days a week.  That includes benching (flat, inclines, declines) and also machine work.  I haven't really hit the dumbell presses hard, but I believe I could do a lot with that.  As for breaking my platues, I really haven't hit one for a while.  For some reason, my bench has been just going up and up.  I expect one here though shortly.  Its kind of funny because, just this past summer, I was only benching like 290lbs.  That was when I was just turning 15 and I weighed about 150.  I have increased a lot since then.  For me, it is just all in the practice.  Work with it a lot and you will get where you want to be.  You can achieve anything if you put your mind to it.  My goals as for now, are to heal, and then to hit all my other areas hard.  I would like to get a 450lb bench in by the end of this year and maybe enter into some competitions.  I don't know, but we will see.  Anyways, thanks a lot for the compliments.

Toby

For some reason the link won't work for me but.. I will certainly accept what everyone else has said they have seen and say I was wrong and am sorry.

Congratulations for being in the extreme minority of lifters, at any age.

I apologize.

Don't worry about it.  Sorry for calling you names and stuff.  I just get kind of mad at those kind of things.  Too bad the link doesn't work for you.

You know I knew you were going to say that before you even said it :)  See alot of people on this forum would concider that over training.  I bet your chest isnt even really that big right?  lol..  Its an olympic lifting strategy,  olympic lifters work and work 3 - 4 days a week often on the same movements that involve more then one muscle,  Compounds.  They do it just how you said lighter weights more reps then maybe take a day off if they are sore then the day after they just slam it with 6 - 8 reps etc.. The work outs dont last for too long with long rest periods in between.

If you want to add some size etc.. you have to work the legs you also need to work each muscle group only once per week.  Either that or if you want to be strong stick to the compouned movements and just keep your bench up while the legs cetch up.

You are the first person I have seen use an olympic style of lifting.  I bet you didnt even know that Smile  Just dont train your other muscles like that.   The only problem with your style of training is you can push your muscles beyond their normal limits and seriously injure your self.

the most important lesson i have learned in my life is its not the size of the dog in the fight its the sixe of the fight in the dog. just because subraturbo is 15 years old and maybe not be the biggest guy in the world doesnt mean ne thing. my firne drecently broke the deadlift record in our school by deadlifting over 700 lbs. hes 15 and weighes around 185. if suberturbo is lying hes a ****ing **** but if not thats great for him and i wish i could do it.

bench- 265
deadlift- 550
clean 245 3x

i thought you were full of s*** but that looks pretty legit.  What are you other compound lift maxes, or is bench press the only thing that you do?
