LEGS
ATG Squats: 185lbs - 4 x 10
SLDL: 135lbs - 4 x 10
Leg Extensions: 150lbs - 3 x 10
Leg Curls: 90lbs - 3 x 10

Still working on form/flexibility on squats.  185 is light, might go up next week, just don't want to go too heavy and get back into crap form.

Shoulder Press: 115lbs - 4 x 8
Lateral Raises: 25lbs - 3 x 10
Rear Delt Cable Flies: 30lbs - 3 x 10

My shoulders are starting to come along.  They're still one of the most noticable weak spots.

DB Bench - 100 - 8, 8, 8
Hammer Strength Decline Machine - 270 - 12, 12, 12, 12

I'm startin my cut for summer, but I don't have a set weight I want to get to.  I'll be done cutting when I'm happy with the way I look, but hopefully I can stay above 185 and still be pretty ripped.

4.3.07 Back
Pull Ups - Bodyweight - 12, 12, 12, 7
T-Bar Rows - 135 - 12, 12, 12, 12
Back Extensions - 200 - 12, 12, 12, 12
1-arm Dumbbell Rows - 80 - 12, 12

I think my longest rest period today was 75 seconds.  Got the lifting done in around 30 minutes.  The weights are dropping some because of the limited rest time, but the lifts are still feeling great.  Big oops on the last set of pull ups - failed on the 8th rep.  Got a paper to write now, but then I'm gonna hit the treadmill for bout 30 minutes.

4.9.07 Back

Pull Ups- 15, 15, 12, 12 (all bodyweight)
T-Bar Rows- 4 plates- 12, 12, 12, 12
Deadlifts- 225- 12, 12, 12, 12
1-arm DB Rows- 80- 12, 12

Ok, so I had gone home last week for my mom's birthday and then the gym here at school was closed so I didn't get the full week of workouts in, but I did do some leg stuff at the "fitness center" here at the apartments, but it didn't come close enough to a workout to log it.  Still doin low rest times between sets, that's why the weight is so low on the deadlifts and the DB rows.  The DLs took a lot out of me, kinda glad I saved them to the end.

And what the hell is up with the weather?  its middle of april almost and here in NC it was 55 degrees today.  Its supposed to be 80's.  Damn cold fronts.

I got 3 more weeks on this workout cycle, then a week off (planned it out so that I'm taking the week off of exams/21st birthday).  I'm really lookin forward to that week off. Smile

4.10.07 Chest
DB Incline- 75- 12, 12, 10, 10; 85- 8, 8
HammerStrength Decline- 3 plates ea. side- 12, 12, 12, 12
DB Flies- 50- 12, 12

Gonna do mostly Incline from here on out since I'm cutting, I have already started to notice some areas I need to focus on and upper chest is one of them.  Plus with the nicer weather, the shirts get a little smaller and I look a little funny since my upper chest is a little less developed than the lower portion.

The girls at work have noticed I'm looking a bit bigger and more defined so I guess that's a plus.  Camera still don't work right but I'll get up some pics as soon as I can.

also been slackin on the cardio a little, but the low rest times between sets and decreased calories are helping.  I was afraid I wouldn't have any energy when I started my cut because of the decrease in food, but so far its going fine.  Abs are startin to come thru so I'm happy.

it seems like what ever strength gains I get you get... It really pisses me off Smile But at the same time it makes me work a little tiny bit harder..

I can incline 80's fairly easy now but umm 100's for the flat... i usually stick with 95's now I guess im going to have to try the 100's out.. Freaken jerk! Smile

Good Job BTW :) looks like me you and wicked are all in the same weight class.. But he is stronger then us.

haha thanks man.. it seems like in the last few weeks, I look at a weight and think man those are some big weights, but when I pick them up I just pump out set after set.  I'm slowly coming to the realization that I'm starting to become one of those big guys that you see at the gym and want to be.  I still don't consider myself big or strong, but the girls at work tell me I have a nice body, the girl I'm "seeing" or whatever can't keep her hands off of me, even one guy in my 9am class the other day asked me if I had lifted before class cuz I looked a little bigger ( I usually keep my hoodie on during class, but it is starting to get warmer so I had a t-shirt on).

I still have a LONG way to go tho to get to where I wanna be.

anyways...

4.12.07 LEGS
Squats- 225- 8, 8, 8, 8
Front Squats- 135- 8, 8, 8, 8
Leg Press- 400- 10, 10

Had to cut my workout short today cuz on my second set of leg presses, as I was gruntin out my last rep, I got VERY lightheaded and felt like I was gonna throw up and just wanted to lay there for a while.  So I said screw this, I'll hit the hammy's prolly on my arm day and rest up a bit.

Bodyweight is still at 197 even tho I feel as tho I am losing weight.  I feel very thin and light right now, but I'm keeping the same BW so whatever.

Seated Calf Raise- 90- 12, 12, 12, 12
Standing Calf Raise- pin at #10- 12, 12, 12, 12

Ended workout with 10 reps of feet together squats and 10 reps of wide stance squats back to back with 135 pounds.

workout went pretty good.  I held back a bit cuz I didn't wanna have happen what happened last week.  I did wanna get 4 sets of front squats in but the squat racks were taken up, so I ended with the narrow and wide stance w/ a bar from one of the benches.

4.23.07 Chest/Tri's
CHEST
DB Incline- 75- 12, 10; 80- 8, 8; 90- 6 (that one was just so I could stay ahead of you, IBBSmile)
Decline Machine - 3 plates + 25- 10, 8; 3 plates- 10; 3 plates, 2 plates, 1 plate (drop set)- 8, 10, 12
Incline Cable Flies- 40- 12; 50- 10, 10, 10
TRI'S
BW Dips/Assisted dips Drop Set (BW-50 lbs)- 12/12, 12/12, 12/12
Overhead Tri Extensions w/ curl bar- 65- 10, 10, 10
Reverse Grip Pulldowns- 50- 10, 10, 10

Everything was a slow negative with an explode up.  Didn't fully lock out - kept the tension on the muscles (that's why the weights weren't as high as usual).  I'm glad I let my meal settle before I went cuz I upped the intensity w/ the drop sets.  If I didn't wait, I woulda puked today.  Felt pretty good pushin myself.

ok, finals and work are kicking my ass.  I'm so worn out.  I'm gonna go ahead and take some time off and I'll get back to it in about 10 days.  Give my body time to rest.
