Form on squats is getting a little better. I've been practicing "sitting back" every night in front of the mirror and making sure my knees don't go past my toes, and it was fine during my warmup and my first few sets. The last couple of sets, once my legs started getting tired, the form went to crap. I'll probably stick with 225 until the form gets better.

hmm.. a little confused.. i'm eatin like crazy but the scale says im the same size.. the measurements also say that same thing.. however, i've had a couple girls at work say that i look bigger than i did even 2 weeks ago.. shirts are fitting a little tighter, and when i look in the mirror, i really feel like i look bigger this is kinda startin to piss me off bench/shoulder workout after class

change in body compisition. Lost fat or size somewhere in your body gained more in your shoulders upper chest and arms. That is just my guess because it seems to be happening to me right now too although the scale just started to change finally.

Thursday January 18, 2007 PUSH Bench Press: 5 x 5 - 230 Shoulder Press: 5 x 5 - 125 Weighted Dips: 3 x 6 - 70 The dips got me today. by the time i got to that part of the workout i was worn out. oh well. maybe next time.

Monday January 22, 2007 Pull Deads: 295 x 5, 295 x 5, 315 x 3, 335 x 3, 365 x 3 Rows: 185 - 5 x 5 Pull Ups: Bodyweight - 5 x 5 Went heavy on deads today cuz I was in a pissed of mood and just wanted to lift heavy weights. I'm thinking about cutting the sets of deadlifts from 5 to 3 so that I can keep my intensity instead of having 3 kick ass sets and 2 that I'm dragging through. The rows and pull-ups were supersetted. Pretty kick ass workout today. I'm workin up a sweat just thinkin bout it.

Tuesday January 23, 2006 PUSH Bench Press: 5 x 5 - 235 Shoulder Press: 5 x 5 - 125 Weighted Dips: 5 x 5 - 45 WOOO. Today was an awesome workout. Didn't think I'd get all 5 sets on bench after the first one but it just got easier as I got to the end. I think I'll up the weight to 130 for shoulders next week. Backed off on the dips cuz by the time I got to them I was dead. Also threw in 3 sets of 15 at 200 pounds on cable crunches. I keep forgetting to weight myself but I don't think the weight has changed much, even though I am filling out and am bigger than I was 3 weeks ago. Ok. time to go eat.

tonight at the bar we had 3 groups of guys starting a fight with each other - about 15 guys total - and once we got that separated and got everyone to leave, they started again outside (only 2 groups of guys this time, but still 7 guys, and me and one other guy were the only ones there to break it up). i got so much of a pump goin right now and all this happened 2 hours ago. if only the gym was open 24 hours... instead, i'm treating myself to a few beers to help calm me. leg workout tomorrow. i can't wait. ps. i did throw one guy away from the fight and then pushed another guy a good 15 feet and slammed him up against the wall. i felt like a total badass after that

I have a lifting partner now - first time in over a year. We went today and I'm gonna start doin whatever it is he does. Today we did back. Deadlifts - 250lbs - 4 x 8 Lat Pulls - 150lbs - 4 x 8 Rows - 155lbs - 4 x 8 DB Curls - 40lbs - 3 x 10 Bodyweight (post workout) - 190 lbs

car wouldnt start tonight so i went to the "gym" here at the apartments. i did a bunch of squats on the smith machine. speed reps, pause reps, wide stance, close stance, light weight, heavier weight. did about 15 sets total. felt pretty good, but it wasn't anything compared to going to the gym and hittin free weight squats.

Tuesday Feb 6, 2007 Back Rows: 165lbs - 4 x 8 Lat Pulls: 162.5lbs - 4 x 8 Deadlifts: 260lbs - 3 x 8 Bicep Curls: 40lbs - 3 x 10 Tried puting the deads at the end of the workout and by the time I got to them I was dead/couldn't hold onto the bar anymore. My forearms are soo pumped right now. I could barely hold the stearing wheel on the way home from the gym. I did shoulders and arms last week, I was just too damn lazy to update the log after the workouts. Didn't weigh in today, but I don't feel as heavy as I was last week, probably around 187.

I'm gonna take this week off.. Last few days I've felt like crap, missed 3 out of 4 classes so far this week cuz I don't feel good.. so I figure it would be better for me to relax this week and get better and then I'll hit it hard again next week
